I have absolutely zero hub options checked off in my feed settings.  But my feed is still displaying Hubs.  Can someone from admin look into why this is?

Hi, Relache. I did make some changes to the feed that might be causing a problem. Have you had all of the setting boxes unchecked for very long, or did you uncheck them only recently? Either way, I'm looking into it ...

[Edit] Also, is this a new problem, or have you noticed this happening for a while?

Are there new Hubs being shown, or are you seeing the Hubs that have already been posted in the Feed.  If you are still receiving new Hub notifications in the Feed then that's a bug and I'll post it to our engineers.  Thanks!

It's been going on for a while.  I unchecked everything to see if that cleared things up.

Interestingly, with absolutely nothing checked, there's still a feed.  I find this perplexing.

You cannot opt out of seeing status updates, so it's expected that your feed might not be empty even if you have no boxes checked. When you change your feed settings, the settings do not apply retroactively, so anything that was in your feed before you changed your settings will remain there. That is normal and expected.

So, I am not entirely sure if what you are seeing is indeed a bug. You should not see any new Hubs in your feed if none of your Hub-related boxes are checked ... so maybe there is a problem. (I am looking into it now.)

So far, I have not been able to find a problem. Is it the case that you are getting new stories in your feed about Hubs after unchecking all of the boxes?

I'm afraid that I will be out of town for the next few days, so I will not be able to investigate this further until next week. Sorry!

I'm about to go camping for a week, so don't worry if you can't get to this right away.  I won't have internet to look at it myself.

Hi Relache, the Hubs that you are seeing are ones that have been shared by those you follow, not just newly published.  These are suppose to be shown in the Feed and, at this time, cannot be moderated out.

Yes, I had forgotten about shared feed stories. Shared stories might appear in your feed regardless of your settings. You cannot opt out of seeing shared stories at this time.
