How do we tie our hubpages subdomain to our google profiles URL to get the full benefit of the authorship rel=author?
It seems that part of the benefit to be derived from the new subdomain setup is the ability to tie our hub subdomain to our google profiles URL.
Some other web2 websites, such as Infopirate, have set up the Authorship markup
as mentioned here below.
Infopirate now fully supports the Authorship markup rel="me" and rel="author". This will help search engines to recognize that your Infopirate articles and web tips are written by you and not by somebody else.

How do we tie our hubpages subdomain to our google profiles URL to get the full benefit of the authorship rel=author?
We can't, we have to wait for HubPages to set it up for us, which could take a little time as it's not straightforward, I believe.

Okay, this is why I dreaded the coming changeover -- Google authorship was working just fine under the old format, but the new profile page won't recognize my Google profile URL because I have an old Google member profile.Which works just fine with Google authorship, but Hubpages' new profile...

This might be a complete co-incidence, but I switched to the new profile a couple of days ago, and today Google is pretending it doesn't know me. Hubs that ranked on the first page for main keyword are not found in the first 10 pages. Even more worrying, I can't find them in Google even...

I have to issue a grovelling apology here, I stuffed up mightily. I posted an explanation of how to claim authorship with Google, and made one small but extremely important mistake. For those who followed the original advice, my sincere apologies. You need to edit your profile and...

As many of you know, Google recently introduced a feature to identify authors around the web. To be recognized as an author, you need to create a Google profile and add links to your profiles on the websites and blogs where you write (which includes your HubPages sub-domain).However there is...

Looks like Google made another algo change earlier this week. My traffic rose about 25% on my main HP account around this time, so I'm guessing the update was the cause. My traffic is still low by historical standards (down by more than a third from the start of the year), but I...
