I just signed up for HP ad program last week. I had previously only enabled adsense. Now i view my articles and all i see is ads all over...I dont think vivisitors will be impressed! Should i disable one option? Like say i have only adsense? what are the pros and cons?
Don't worry you don't have to many adds I just checked. You can run both hp ads and adsense or just adsense. I do well with both but some people complain they lose money with hp ads. All I can say try both ways!
If people don't notice adverts they won't click and you won't make money.
However if you prefer, you can disable adverts or change the setting so not as many show, in the settings section at the mid right when you're in edit mode on a hub.

I know we are all here to make some money, but having 10 ads on a page slows down loading time to such an extent that readers just don't have the patience to wait for a page to load. So they click away without reading our pages. To prove my point that the very high number of ads is to...

In a word: adverts! I was just looking at some older hubs and realised I have lots of Amazon and eBay ads alongside the text or in blocks. I remember doing this now having seen some past high-earner Hubbers having lots of ads on their hubs. I admit I copied the technique thinking maybe this was the...

For the new QAP being so stringent at eradicating spam from hubs, it evidently has no rules for outside and around the content of our pages. Not counting 3 Amazon ads I placed in the hub myself, I count no less than 19 unrelated ads around my article on "How to Cure a Stiff Neck".(jump to...
