Do you put Amazon on all your hubs or on hubs that just promote a product. Do you write reviews how do you get sales?
Out of my 'information' hubs, I'm lucky to get 1 sale out of 10,000 views.
On my 'product, sale, or review' hubs I generally get at least 1 sale per 500 views, on some, I can average 1 sale per 50 views at the right time of year.
I agree with QM.. my informational hubs have not fetched me more than $5 from the time I have been here... LOL ..but the truth is even my product hubs have not fetched me anything..so I gave up on Amazon sales... I can never get my sales pitch right

The reason I even asked the question is because a while back people where so upset about not being able to earn from Amazon and they where saying how much money they where making. They where basicly saying a big part of their income was from Amazon so I went and looked at a lot of their hubs but couldn't determine what they where doing vs what I am doing.
I do both. I make sure that my Amazon ads are completely relevant to the hub. For example, I get lots of sales of Fred Astaire videos from a hub that is just talking about their movies. I also have a sales hub on gifts for cats that also gets sales.
That being said, I don't sell that much on Amazon.
If you are want Amazon sales you have to write hubs for people that are ready to buy.
It is very seldom a casual browser will decide to buy a product there are then, just by reading your fantastic and persuasive hub!
They have made their minds up already what they want, you are just giving them the final shove, so to make sales, write hubs aimed at this group.

I never been much of a sales person. When I first started writing I join some affiliate programs never had any luck than my girlfriend made a purchase with her credit card for a little over $80 I never got credit so I just assumed affiliate pro. where scams so I stopped I don't even put referral links up any more. Like here I have over a 1000 referrals but not one person signed up thats hard to believe.

I'm a bit behind the ball having been absent for a bit and my Amazon earnings have gone way down as a result, so I'm considering switching to the HP Amazon Program and am wondering if in fact most Hubbers are earning more from the HubPages Amazon Program, as it states. I believe when this came out...

I have a question for those of you who use Amazon in your hubs. Let's say that you are writing a hub with a list of different products. Do you think it's better to put all the amazon stuff at the bottom of the hub, all in one place, or to spread the ads throughout the hub, with one ad per product?...

I received a notice about being charged to keep my Amazon affiliate program active if I have no sales in 90 days. I'm sure others share this issue. Since I agreed to use Amazon under Hubpages program ID, I do earn more commission but now I may be charged due to my own ID isn't producing income.Is...
