I have an Ebay ads program active a month ago but there are no Ebay products ad in my hubs from the beginning of the activation of the ad program. Today, I have noticed some Ebay products add in one of the hubber's hub. Why don't I have such ads though it is showing that Ebay program is active?
Have I done any mistake in activating the program?
What is the procedure?
Kindly help me to understand the reason. Thanks in advance.
You can include Ebay ads in a hub by using the Ebay capsules. They won't appear automatically.
Using Ebay capsules is like your Amazon capsules... you need to use keywords to set up the ads.. as Will says they do not appear automatically like Google ads..
Hello sofs and Will Apse,
Thanks for clearing my doubt.
First of all, I did not know that I have to add the Ebay capsule. One more thing is how to add keywords and which keywords that which are used in the tag?
Secondly, as of now I have 24 hubs so may I add this capsule in all the hubs?
Lastly, where to add the capsule in the hub?
Kindly answer my questions it will be quite helpful for me. Thanks in advance.
Hello there.
1. Yes, use eBay capsules. Play around with all the capsules is my advise.
2. Keywords. use the one related. Like if I am writing for finance, I go for finance keywords. Of course, keywords can be longer. Think out of the box
3. Yes you can add eBay and Amazon to all. Just make sure you don't put too many as it will be flagged.
4. You can basically add anywhere. In between text capsules, picture capsules etc.
This is what I can show you starting from top to bottom for example.
Text capsule
Picture capsule
Text capsule
eBay capsule
text capsule
Amaxon capsule
Link/rss capsule
Comment
You see, there are a few text capsules. Dividing your articles into different parts and put each into different capsules.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Good luck!
This is done the exact same way you work with amazon capsules... find keywords for products related to the hubs. You can add them in all of you hubs as you please.
The placement is something you need to work with, until your layout looks attractive and not too cluttered or ugly..
Remember that you can have one product for every fifty words ..more than that you could have your hubs un published..
You need to follow what works for you in terms of layout.. but avoid the rss or link capsule if you can or keep it highly relevant.
Thanks nicregi.
It is very clear now because you have answered all the questions in a very clear cut manner but still I have one small doubt left. The point is:
You mentioned about 'flagging off if I use too many' but what? If I use 2/3 keywords, will it be fine?
How the product adds will appear in the hubs, am I to select the adds?

We just released a small update to the site. Among a slew of bug fixes and small updates, there are two notable changes. The first is that you can follow the comments on a hub, and receive email notifications when new comments are made. Just click the follow button near the top of the...

I often see barely related Amazon ads on pages here. Sometimes, I see ads that seem plain perverse -- ads for Apple TV on an apple pie recipe page, for example.I'm sure a lot of the most unrelated (and harmful) Amazon ads come from the 'choose keywords' feature in Amazon capsules.Might be helpful...

I have had a hub on this site for several years that only contained TWO eBay capsules. Today, they were "snipped." What is the point of partnering with eBay if HP is going to interfere with that? Now, I understand that too many "spammy elements" as they call...

Can I just clarify how the Amazon flag works? When I use Amazon, I often use several capsules with only one product per capsule. I do that, because I want the product to align with the relevant text.I noticed the warning says something about calculating how many products COULD be displayed in...

Authoring Hubs is about sharing and spreading ideas. Most of what we do is word-based, and a capsule to show off related Zazzle stuff would be an eye-catching way to allow readers interested in those ideas to buy products which celebrate them, such as relevant designs, graphics, statements,...

Hello Hubbers,I do have an Amazon account but never added Amazon capsules to any of my Hubs. I've tried but I was not grasping it.Do you choose specific products or do you choose keywords that Amazon will use to generate a list of items?I would appreciate any suggestions. If you use Amazon...
