Hey Hubpage Support.
I've been with Hubpages for a few days now. Rules here seem to be a little
different than Squidoo's rules, so I really would like to make sure that I'm not
doing anything wrong that may result in a ban. If I am doing something wrong,
I would like the opportunity to fix it before my content is removed.
Before I say anything else, I know business. Hubpages wants quality content,
and has guidelines that one must meet to post that content. The last thing I
want to do is pollute Hubpages by breaking the rules.
With that being said, After a few days of Hubpages, I took a look at the
Terms of Use page. I noticed that the restrictions are pretty tight so I do have
some questions.
1) I have multiple accounts. One account is for my Acne topics. One account
is for my Blogging topics. I also have an old account in which I do not use
anymore. Is it okay to have multiple accounts? Or, would you perfer that we
only have a single account?
2) As I am providing Hubpages with content, I believe that I should be
provided with something in return. I've been creating Hubpages and linking
those Hubs to related Squidoo articles. For Example: http://hubpages.com/hub/Garlic-Acne-Treatment links to http://www.squidoo.com/garlic-acne Is
doing something like this okay?
3) Program Reviews: I just did my first program review of Fast Blog Finder. I
did the review here: http://hubpages.com/hub/fast-blog-finder-review I plan on
making another page about the program here pretty soon, and then linking
the two pages together. Would doing something like that be okay?
4) Affiliate Links: Finally, is it okay to place affiliate links into Hubs?
I really want to make sure I follow the Hubpage Guidelines. If you could write
me back and let me know if I need to make any changes, I would be more
than happy to do so. I just ask that I have a day to make the changes. I have
worked very hard to create this content, and I have backlinks from Ezine
articles pointing to my Hubs. I really don't want to see all of my work go to
waste.
Please write me back at a time of your convenience.
Have a great day.

ok...that is a big list and I dont have those answers. This is a forum where other hubbers will help you with your problems, so by posting an answer, maybe it will bring your Q's to the attention of someone more knowledgeable in the answers.
the one thing I would say is that you should probably just use one acct and keep it all on the one. several ppl have more than one acct, but if you are just separating them because the content of the hubs is different, I'm not sure that's enough to justify multiple accts. as for affiliate links, you can add ebay and amazon capsules and fill them in with products you choose or if you have adsense, google will place ads for you. no links on the hub itself are necesary. Sorry I couldn't help more, but now maybe someone who can will notice the post.
Welcome to HubPages!
You are doing well.
But you may not have more than a total of two outbound links to a single domain for all your hubs. This means your links to Squidoo is limited to two links.
I learned that I have kind of answered my own questions. If I feel that I am on the fence about breaking the rules, then I probably am.
Not to mention the fact that I truly want quality Hubs. No sense in re-writing content from another post and placing it on a Hub here.
I'm going to go through and delete my current hubs. Probably going to do the same on Squidoo.
That way, I can pick an account to keep, and from there, start fresh.
It sucks that I feel that I have to do this. But again, it's quality over quantity anyway. Creating a new Hub everyday along with a new Squidoo page just doesn't sound right.
I need to leave that to the Ezines.
Thanks for your help guys.

If I remove an article do I still receive its earnings so long as I do not close my account? Just wondering as I am still in the process of reshuffling articles throughout my accounts. In moving over to Hubpages from Squidoo there are a few of us who wound up with multiple accounts. I am still...

Calling anyone who has considered having multiple accounts.I don't mean to do anything underhand with them.I've been learning to use HubPages by writing random product focussed hubs. I am now ready to do something a bit more meaningful. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 topics that I could...

I've noticed a few hubbers mention they have multiple HubPages accounts. Why? Is it helpful to have more than one account? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I was just wondering because I'm beginning to have trouble keeping track of all of my hubs and it will just get worse.

After giving thought to how the amount of spam in both the Questions, and Forums can be reduced I came up with only really one solution.Require approval of new accounts, many who have their accounts banned, flagged etc simply recreate a new account. This also would reduce the number of people...
