What "IF" Jesus said exactly what he intended to say and it is written exactly that way?

And everybodys interpretation of scripture is wrong because they NEVER considered it that way.

Why in the world would Jesus say anything that we didn't first have to interpret a different meaning for??

It that were true ,  well,  it that were true, there wouldn't be a mystery!

That just can't be true  can it?

The only mystery, is the mystery chosen. Take what you will from that, I assure you, it has a meaning.

Please allow me to rephrase that which you have said.

The only mystery is that which we accept and/or create for ourselves..

Exactly... We choose to be in the dark, it's easier than getting up and flipping the light switch. Though a mystery can also be fun...

That is what I have finally come to the conclusion of.

If there were no conflict, mystery, etc;  what would we do while on this excursion which we are on.

Never let the right hand know what the left hand is doing.   or something like that.

It's a path we must all walk alone, the end is as obscure as looking at our own eyes, with no mirror.

Maybe that is what this is about.  Being able to see ourselves through "Other" eyes?

Your getting close... But who am I to say, I'm just a lowly buddhist, christian, sufi, jewish, Hindu, I have no room to guide your journey.

      Simple really...
Jesus spoke truth, thus one need to understand what truth really is to even begin to understand him...otherwise you must go on your interpretation which itself lack truth, thus the many errors.

Truth never leaves one divided but put all knowledge in its proper perspective....all working together for the good of the individual.

Striving to understand Jesus Christ is nothing but vain struggle.

Striving after Truth is the only thing that fulfills.

I never thought about figureing him out,  It has taken all of my life to figure out a little bit about what I can understand of what he said.

It isn't that we have to try so hard to listen for his voice, as it is to drown out what everyone else is saying that he is saying????

That is why I keep reading those words written in red, skipping everything else which is written on the same pages.

The words written is read   AND     the Ten Commandments  is said to be          the heart and soul of Wholy Scripture  ...  So Everyone says!

The rest of the NT is just adverbs and adjactives; and we all know that THEY come in all colors.

NO They DON"T;     xxx     YES they do! .....

      What do you mean, Jerami?

Let's see....when Jesus handed the disciples some bread and wine and told them to take it and eat 'cause it was His body, do you think it was literally His body?   No.  Not possible, especially since His body was there in front of them.  So, if His body was right there in front of them, then they could've just reached over and taken a bite outta Him, no need for the bread and wine! LOL.

There's much mystery in the Bible, and of course much symbolism in the Bible;  but all of those aren't mysterious.  It's just that some people like to see mystery where there is no mystery.

        Hello Brenda.

You know as well as I do what the difference between a simply stated prophetic message and one of those "It's kinda like this" kind of things.

To not know the difference is to compare an earthworm to a woodpecker.
I've never caught a fish puting a woodpecker on my hook.

To say, "This particular thing is going to happen"     and
To say " Clearing our minds is like cleaning house";   Are two intirely different matters.

of course this is not saying the mind is a house.

    Edit  .....   SO  If I don't ever!   READ  anything but these and believe them;  and keep them;
Am I going to have to go sit by the lake of fire, OR worse ?,  for not paying any attention to the rest of the NT  ?

Really     this is a serious question that I think is a good  something  to think about.  On many levels.

So long as you continue as this you continue to decieve yourself for truth is not found in letters but in you

And even "THEN" ;    I do think that NOT anyone I have ever known has ever been overloaded with IT.

So I'll just keep doing what little that I do, and try to keep being the way that I should.    (to the best of my understanding)

and a Mustang, is a Ford  but a Ford isn't necessarily a Mustand.

cause if it were we could then say that a Ford is a horse.
