Unrelated Links or Products

   I have a hub on Malwarebytes which is about anti-malware and antivirus.  Yesterday, I went in and edited the hub on grammar and the insertion of one keyword that Google Keyword Tool suggested. I then clicked "done editing" and got the warning about "unrelated links or products" and the hub was unpublished. Today is says to remove all links, Amazon and Ebay capsules on the hub.  This hub is well over two months old and the links in the hub have remained the same. 
   
   There are links to hubbers hubs, as suggested by the HP Tool for the words:
   Antivirus software
   Javascript
   Malware
   McAfee
   AVG Free Version Software
   Malwarebytes
   
   At the end of the hub, I included two links that are related and were the solution to the problem I experienced, mentioned in the hub. Both are from CNET a "safe" download site. The links are for the free version of AVG and Malwarebytes. (Note: I have seen these two links in numerous other hubs on HP that are talking about software, antivirus and anti-malware, trojans, viruses, etc.) These are not affiliate links or anything, simply the free download of the product.
   
   The Amazon capsule has these items displayed:
   Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Lifetime
   Kindle Fire Genuine LeatherCover by Marware, Black
   GuardX Antivirus
   
   The Ebay capsule has these items displayed:
   New CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 Full Version
   Windows xp operating system pro
   New! TurboTax Deluxe 2011 - Federal & State Returns w/ Federal E-File - SEALED
   
   Those six items are generally accepted as being "computer" related as the hub is about computers and software.
   
   The photos displayed on the site all go to the links on Flckr Creative Commons where the photos are from.
   
   So, I am not seeing where the problem is. There was not editing of the links yesterday, however it has suddenly been deemed to be unpublished.  I have the "official" email today.
   
   I am at a loss what to delete in reference to link.  I have seen many hubs with many more links to such software downloads and the related hubs mostly all have the same links that mine do, as well as numerous other hubs on HP.
   
   The email says I can address this in the forum for advice and clarification. So this is the request.
   
   The email also said it was a "human" decision to unpublish the hub at this point. That it would remain unpublished until I did the above and resubmitted it. So it does not seem fair even to the six hubbers that I link to in the article by the "suggest a link" tool, nor the six hubbers who have related articles displaying on my hub.  Twelve hubbers and myself suffer because I "tweaked" the hub yesterday, without, again, adding or editing any links.

   Software that is a graphics program, an operating system and tax software have nothing to do with the subject of your Hub.  A leather cover for a Kindle is even more unrelated.

      They are all electronic related at least. Not like all the car hubs that are showing up on my various hubs under related links.  Nothing was changed on this hub to create it suddenly, out of the blue to be unpublished by a "bot" then a day later a "human" stood by the "bot's" decision. Opening it to add a key word and correct grammar and closing it, republishing it, should not have set off such a thing in motion.  THAT is what I am talking about.

   I think there is a little mark somewhere that points to the offending links. Maybe these sort of things should get highlighted rather than leaving one confused and at a loss for words unfortunately, our idea's of 'related' do not always match with others.

      Nope, there is no little mark or nothing, I have checked yet again. Of course I have gotten no response as of yet from the "team"...so I wait.  I may just move it to my computer related blog and delete it here. Not worth my time.  I do work a "regular" job as well, lol.

         This makes no sense, unless the word "malware" got them in a jitter.  I'd move it to your blog and forget about it - what's the point of republishing it here with no ads on it?

            True, Marisa.  I did just get an email stating that the warning had been removed, however I still see it and the hub remains unpublished. I went ahead and submitted it for publication.  That is about all I am going to do with it. It was one of my first hubs here, and I have done 45 more with no problems.

               I have revised and deleted one Ebay and one Amazon listing. These two items were selected by Ebay and Amazon with the word "Malware" as the item to be related. As an Amazon Seller and an Ebay seller, I personally don't sell anything that is related to this hub, so I let those two capsules pick out what they "felt" was related.  I guess I will have to police their choices much closer.  So I will now go and review all 45 of my other hubs, lol.

               Oh, by the way, this decision was reached after conferring with the "team", who did respond in a decent time period and with precise instructions when asked. So thanks to the "team" as well.

                  The hub has been republished. Thanks for great support from the team on this issues. I am still checking all my capsules to make sure that the ads are related. I have had to certainly tweak a few of them for sure. I guess having this one flagged was a good thing, as it has created the scenario of me checking all of my ad capsules.
