I want to split up a long capsule of numbered options. However, if I do that, my numbering starts at one again. Is there any way to start the numbering in the next capsule at the next number in the series? For example, if I want numbered options 1-5 in the first capsule and 6-10 in the next capsule, how would I start the second capsule with 6 ? Or should I abandon the formatted number list option?
I tried this a few weeks ago and could never see how to split the capsule as you mention. I will follow this question, however, to see if there is a solution!
Thanks, Dale. I thought there might be some html or something that would allow this - at least I'm hoping that there is.
In such cases I just use the Bulleted format rather than the numbers. But, if you do need numbers just type in the numbers and it's much easier than going through all the trouble.

Maintain the same spacing between the numbers and the beginning of the text and you should be fine. But, the problem is that it won't be indented and the next line would come below the number which doesn't look good. That's the reason I stick to bullets.

I have 20 bullet points. Because I like my readers to have reader-friendly material, I like to put this in two or three different text capsules. However the hp numbering system doesn't give the option of carrying on where the last number left off. So I have several choices.1. Have two or three sets...

Please add bbcode and javascript functionality to text capsules. I really like the hubpages concept, but would really enjoy the addition of javascript, like in Blogger. Any chance?

Do you give more attention to new formatted hubber profiles over the old?The new profile formatting is a real improvement in look and usability. Some hubber's profiles are awesome. Does this make you frown on those who have not updated yet? I understand that it's their choice, but do you find...

I had a request from CalorieBee to edit one of my articles, adding a sneak peek, using the HubTool numbering. What is that? I can't find it. Or is it a fancy title for something basic to do in the text capsule?

Where is the print button on the newly formatted pages?I can't seem to find the print option which used to convert the article into a printable version.
