What do I need to do to be accepted by Google AdSense? I've tried twice and I'm always told that I do not have enough hubs on my page. How many do I need?
Despite that I had a google adsense account already, I could not have it connected to my hub pages account until I had been here six months.
It depend on what country your from. You might have to wait 6 months. If your in the U.S. you have no waiting time.
Ad-sense /Google has gotten stricter since I started writing. I see in the forum all the time with 10 hubs they get approved.
Make sure your articles are not to short. I would at least make them 400 words or better.
Good Luck and Welcome
I have to agree with tamron. It will usually require you to have about 10 hubs (number varies between hubbers).
You may try going through the topics under the "Google Adsense" category to know more about getting an account in Google Adsense.
I was rejected 10 times but i am persistent i waited for almost 6 months and now, i have 57 hubs and i am partially approve. have patience friend
I believe that you need to have published at least 20 Hubs to be accepted. Well... that's just what I've heard.
I think it also helps to have a Blogger blog if you don't have enough hubs posted. I've had AsSense for years, before I even knew about HubPages, through one of my Blogger blogs. It's built into their system, probably because Google owns the site.
If you have a blog there, you might try applying through that instead. Once you are approved, all you do is enter your AdSense # into your HubPages account page.
I got accepted within 10 minutes of my first hub... Strange
I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules about getting approved if you have 10 hubs published. Google is rather fickle. As some Hubbers have already touched upon, it depends upon the quality and length of your articles and sometimes their maturity i.e. length of time published.
Also, there are some topics which Google finds taboo and are best avoided. I am sure you can use your imagination to figure out which ones!
My suggestion would be to review the hubs you have already published and, in the interim, concentrate upon building more quality hubs before applying again. Good luck!
Adsense is an extremely hard network to get into, they require consistent monetiseable content. Only thing I can suggest is target higher-paying keywords, so that they're more interested in monetising your content!
I have 19 hubs on different variety of topics, from poems, recipes, health articles and baby articles, and I still have not been accepeted....so what gives? btw..most of my articles are long and they are well written...at least i think so...
@mismazda I would suggesting making your own blog and buying a .com website. Adsense generally approve domains much quicker and easier!
Thanks Icematikx...maybe I will look into doing my own blog....
You can use the Blogger platform for free and if you want an actual .com url, you can get it through them for $10 a year which isn't a bad price. Your site would literally only cost you $10 a year for the url and the hosting.
Lot of good answers, but having a website already and existing AdSense account before join hubpages is likely the best way to go.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

So I have been here for almost a month, and still am denied Google Adsense. Its odd, because I see people post how they only wrote one hub and were excepted. Others, in the same spot as me. The same message I receive is that I do not meet their criteria. Does anyone know why this may be, or what I...

I have published 21 featured hubs. And then I applied for Google AdSense. But it did not approve my account saying "Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time. We did not approve your...

I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out Google Adsense. I applied for it, I was accepted, and it said ads will begin to appear in one of my hubs. In my account the earnings program is active and so is Google Adsense. The question is, do I have to do anything to add Google Adsense to my...

Hi, I have been posting a series of hubs on Dog Care and Adoption topics. All my hubs are original and I type each character in it. I also got a decent number of Hubs(21) to begin with all with good content. But google has twice turned down my request for adsense Account. It says-" Thank you...
