Choosing to Filter Some Forum Topics?
We have been poking HP with that request for years...
Most of those requests are so that we can block the religion and/or politics forums.

I know that a lot of us access the forums directly from the Forum feed. BUT, you can filter what forum topics you see on your own page feed if you'd rather avoid certain topics.
From your feed page, click 'filters' on the right above your status update bar. The options will open to the right hand side on the page. Click edit next to the 'filter by type' option. It will open a new area where you can place check marks near which items you wish to appear in your feed.
From there you can choose to see forum posts that you made, that you've commented on, in ONLY topics you follow.
It's a little bit of getting used to, but it's the easiest way to customize what you see and don't as far as forums go. Otherwise, you just need to ignore what you aren't interested in on the main forum feed.
