Hi fellow Hubbers.
Recently, I made my first Hub about a simple life advice and would like some feedback.
http://popping.hubpages.com/hub/A-Few-W … ney-Online
(disregard the url name, I didn't know how to change it. I changed my mind on writing that)
167 words is not a hub. It is far too short.
Plus what is the point you are trying to make?
Bad things don't last forever? Tell that to the parents of the kids shot dead in Connecticut!
Who is going to type in 'simple advice for anyone' into Google search? I see no point in your photo either. Is it yours?
If I were you, I would unpublish and go back to the drawing board.
BTW, welcome to Hubpages
I've discovered that once you put in the url name/title, you cannot change it unfortunately. You could delete the article and re-submit it though.
Hi Popping,
Your idea for the hub is good. I agree with btulloh098, it would be a good idea to publish under the title of your article as a new hub.
Also it would be a good idea to expand on the topic, at least 500 words if you want your article to be found by search engines in the long run.
I like your photo. At least one photo in an article is a good idea too.
Hope that helps.
Hey,
I don't mean to hijack your thread or anything, but I was wondering if one of you experienced hubbers could have a look at my first two hubs and tell me how to improve as well. You see, this is the first time I'm writing online,so feedback is necessary for me
Both my hubs have been featured, but hardly and visits : /
Please have a look:

Hi TechTonic, interesting articles. A few suggestions:
A space after the full stop and a comma.
Titles should be less than 67 characters
Titles should be specific, in case of Sony Xperia, it would be a good idea to add words like smart phone or mobile phone, whichever is closest.
Hope that helps
Thanks a lot!
You think I should edit these Hubs or leave them be and implement your suggestions in a new Hub?
Please go ahead and edit the current hubs. No effort is wasted. Your hubs will be there for a long time and it is important to keep to a good quality standard.
I would start it off diferent , rather than " Hey Guys ? Ask a question that will get peoples attention. I personally am not interested in reading product reviews so would pass by them while hub hopping but you need a comment button at the bottom for those that do .
I would try find the poem & and add it in the hub, make it longer and include a comment box at the bottom .

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the types of services we offer Hubbers and how to help Hubbers improve.A few services that have been suggested- grammar and spell checking- suggesting edits- providing images/media upon request- formatting help (breaking hubs into multiple text capsules,...

I recently revived an email from HP stating that one of my established hubs: http://hubpages.com/art/Learning-to-Dra … Your-Brain was being considered for a move to FeltMagnet. The email said it was high quality and close to being suitable and just suggested a few generic changes (breaking...

I don't know, maybe this is just a disgruntled Rant by myself, alone.I call myself a Writer. By default, this makes me a Reader. And, as someone who has the arrogance to think I am good enough to call myself a writer and a reader, I have opinions, on my works as well as the works of others. So, with...

Recently, there was a thread of someone complaining about Hub of the Days lacking amazing writing skills. Their complaint stated the Hubs being selected were because they were niche driven and 'how too's' instead of stellar writing from the soul. The day he posted that, it was my hub that was...

I put this in the "answers" section and it actually should've been posted here. Many of us may be not performing to our fullest potential because we haven't taken a critical eye to each others' content. I would like to offer you some constructive criticism. If you have a hub or...
