How long does it take Google to crawl a not featured hub?

   I published a not featured hub 8-9 days ago, but I cannot find it on Google yet. I knew it should take from 2 to 7 days but someone else told me that it will never be crawled.  Is there any way for Google to crawl it?

      It's not featured meaning it's not gonna be crawled...

   Edit your hub and try to get it featured! Sometimes you can make just a few minor grammar tweeks and it'll become featured.

   Like somebody else said, if it's not featured, then it won't ever be indexed and searchable through Google. By default, hubs include a meta tag with the parameter [content="NOINDEX"]. This tells robots (like Googlebot and other search engine crawlers) that the page should not stored in their index.
   
   Once a hub is featured, this "NOINDEX" parameter is removed and the hub will be stored in Google's index (and other search engines). There's no way around it; you need to edit the hub and get it featured to get it in the index.
   
   And a minor distinction - you're interested in indexing not crawling. Google will crawl the hub if it finds a link to it, and Googlebot will read the page for any links on the hub. It will follow those links and continue with it's crawl, but it just won't save the hub. A page must be crawled before it is indexed, but not all crawled pages make it into the index.

      Just to add:  if this is a new Hub, recently published, then it's "not Featured" because it failed HP's quality assessment.  To get it featured, you need to improve its quality.  Take a look at it and see what can be improved, or post in the "Improving Your Hub" section to ask for help from others. 
      
      For the benefit of other Hubbers who may be reading this - if you have an old Hub which has been published for some time, and it's not Featured, then it's got nothing to do with quality - it's simply that the Hub isn't getting enough traffic.   You can get it back to Featured status by adding a paragraph or two, but it won't stay Featured long if it still doesn't get traffic.   So you have a choice - accept that it's just not a popular topic, unpublish it (and consider moving it to another site where it might do better), or do some keyword research and promotion to try to increase its readership.

   Forever.  'not featured' means the code tells Google to ignore the page.
