Really, ow can we, the great unwashed grouping of people labeled as Caucasians defend ourselves as not being Racist when we are not allowed a level playing field in the debates. I mean, we cannot use ethnic labels while all of the others can attack us with their worst, and we cannot speak freely of our true feelings without being drawn into defending our ancestors actions, and sadly, we cannot stand up for our hopes without being accused of slighting others.
You're gonna have to be more specific, because if you're getting blasted by claims of racism, chances are good you've done something to slight someone.
Really?
"...chances are good..."??
I don't know the author of this thread, nor do I know you, personally.
But I can recognize in your sentence an immediate assumption that's unnecessary and very close to being the very kind of attack that the original poster was talking about.
I say that because it's been done to me before, plenty of times, and I know that I am not racist.
Stand your ground.
That's how.
A start would be to point out the immediately-accusing sentence by the poster above me.
Oh heck, I'll do it.
Funny, I'm also Caucasian and have never had anyone call me a racist, call me racist names or have anyone tell me they hate me because I'm white. At least to my face. If I was called such names on an online forum or anywhere else online I would laugh it off. I am secure in my beliefs and don't let anyone else affect my self worth.
I can say the same thing here; nobody has accused me of being racist but I had someone leaving comments on one of my hubs that was an effort to stir up a controversy. I deleted the comments; it was too sensitive & I wasn't buying into the game.
Replying again to say my "heck, I'll do it" sentence wasn't anything against you. It was the result of much experience in dealing with the liberal mindset here and in "real" life ever since Obama started gaining popularity. He is the deliberate catalyst for (and the instigator of) much much division and so much racism and anger in the United States it ain't even funny.
Can't you defend yourself once without attacking others?
Can't you say anything without falsely accusing others?
I finally found these faces and felt this post deserving of one of these.
It is simple.
You know the truth.
It is their racism that is revealed by the accusation.
Don Bobbit:
Exactly what is the situation that prompted you to post? I, also, had a recent touch with a sensitive matter alluding to race (on one of my hub's comments). Is there something specific that has happened?
Thank you.

Racism is the trendy charge these days. I believe it is over-used and frequently misapplied.I know that racism applies to race and not ethnicity, but that hasn't stopped many from applying the racism charge, so I include it here also. Many of the accusations I see should have been accusations of...
