Google is absolutely, totally determined, and adamantine about ignoring this hub. I even got so fed up about it that I unpublished it for awhile. But I just can't bring myself to delete it. So, it's published again.
If anybody has any ideas on how to make Google give this hub the attention it so richly deserves, please tell me.

Eric, a sincere thanks for the comment you made on my hub. Unfortunately, I had to delete it. There was a word in there that guarantees a hub's ads getting disabled. I've personally witnessed that word causing that in the past. Oh, well... Still, thanks for the thought.
Alright, where's the EC nomination link? Nothing else has worked; maybe sticking the critter in the main domain might actually trigger something.
And thank you, http://askme.hubpages.com/ , for your very worthy comment.
What exactly do you mean by 'attention from Google'? It has a pagerank of 2 which is pretty typical for a hub.
If it is not getting much traffic at that rank, I guess people just aren't searching for that kind of material. You might trying posting to some social sharing sites.
Thanks. But I've pretty much clubbed the social media sites to death with this one over the years. To no avail...
I think you're on the right track when you say, "that kind of material". I will never stand a chance when it comes to the keywords, "civil rights". I need some magic keywords that aren't dominated by Wikipedia, the civil rights sites, and the political sites; yet, when the searcher lands on my hubs because of those magic keywords, they are happy to stay because it's what they want to read.
Update.
Well, I scattered a bunch of cinnamons around it and called it a day. Couldn't think of anything else to do.
Never did find out how to nominate for EC. One thing I won't do is send HP a pesty email.

With the addition of Justice Kavanaugh, the make-up of the Court is similar in temperament as the one that existed between 1840 and 1929. That Court destroyed American Civil Liberties then, and this Court will do the same. So let's see how the previous conservative Court ruled:* Prigg...

Do American citizens give up their civil rights when they join the military? My husband told me that when he joined the military, they told him he was the property of the United States. That got me to wondering if that meant he lost his civil rights while he was serving in the military.

If you don't know what Pinterest is, it's a site where you pin other people's stuff. It's like sharing but I was told not to share my own stuff. I share yours and you share mine sort of thing. HP has added the "pin it" button from Pinterest!

Every now and then I can't save text capsules that have contextual links within the capsule. I'm using Firefox and I've tried Safari today. I can only get it to work most of the time...
