To all of my followers: I'm sorry to say this but I just can't write here anymore. My full-time job keeps me from writing and I'm usually worn out. I already started to slow down with my writing but I didn't think I would slow down that much. So I'm just going to take a hiatus (maybe leave altogether) and clean house. Thanks guys!

Hi WritingLover, Sorry you are feeling worn out. Often this is stress - burnout and a rest away can help spark the creativity again. Hope you feel better soon. I have VERY much enjoyed your stories, you have a gift for writing and I am sure a much earned rest will enable you to take your writing to an even higher level. All the best.

It's good to take a break; when you come back you'll have a clearer perspective and hopefully get back into the hub.

Wishing you the best. We just met, but I did the same thing for a little over nine months. I deleted everything. I am not sure if that is a smart thing or not. I recommend leaving your hubs up and let 'entropy' decide their fate. When you do come back you take a look at their performance over the hiatus.

Remember to download a csv file from your account page into your home PC or laptop folder so you have a reference for when you left. Then you can download another csv file when you come back and do a compare and contrast. That will help when the hiatus is over to kick start things.

It is understandable with life stressors as they are today. As shared I did that and their are others I know of who did so as well. Best wishes and do as you believe is best to manage those stressors. That is the smart thing to do . . .

Hello, writinglover. A hiatus is good. I left my hubs up during a 6 month absence not long after I joined, then came back and picked up where I left off. Hubs will age and do their own thing while you are gone.

See you again some day. smile

Thank you all so much! I'll definitely be back when I'm not as stressed. I'm hoping to be inspired and have the energy to write hubs again! big_smile

Sorry I'm late to the party here folks.  Well I'm sorry to hear you're taking a hiatus on hubpages, as I'm sure you'll be missed.  I have read some of your work before, and I have to say your very talented.  Heck, I'm kind of jealous to be honest because not everyone can write beautiful poems and stories like you can.

However, I can understand where you're coming from by being burned out and all.  We all get like that sometimes, and maybe all you need is some rest.  Who knows?  Maybe after some time off you'll get your creative juices back.  Anyways, good luck to you and all your future endeavors.

I think that's what I need. I don't want to give this place up entirely. I really like it here so I'm keeping my account up and leaving some of my best works here.

Good for you, writinglover. I relate to some of what you're feeling, primarily about being stressed and not having the time. I remain inspired to write but other things take priority. So I need to slow down a bit this month, too. I wish you peace and rejuvenation. See you soon.

That's good.  well, you have to do whatever works best for you, and if this is something you feel you have to do, then I'm sure your readers will understand.  Just don't be gone too long because I've seen a lot of great writers leave this site during my time here, and it would be a real shame if we lost another one.

    Morning writinglover.
I'm saddened to hear you will be leaving us for sometime. I can only say that HP will be a little less happier place with the space you will leave behind. Your friends and followers here on HP will all be waiting for your extended leave to end.
Wishing you well in all that you do.
