What is it that restaurants do that you find annoying?

I went to Chipotle and ordered the chicken bowl. They did not put enough meat on the rice, so asked for more. The server put to tiny pieces of meat on the rice. (I drew a square so people can see.) And then she screamed, “Next!” Before I could say anything… I’m not happy about that. I was just wondering has anyone else experienced an annoying situation at a restaurant.

That reminds me of a time my friends and I ate lunch in a local restaurant. I order sausage on my pizza slice but couldn't find it. When I asked where it was, the waitress told me it was under the cheese. I lifted the cheese with my fork and saw a tiny sprinkling of red dots...I should have taken a photo of it.
I never went back after that!

Did you offer to pay more?
Is that your pic posted by the food? What is the purpose of posting your pic?

Hi Beth!  Where have you been? Are you going to write any poetry on your new Hubs? I love your Poetry! Taking pictures next to food is all the rave! Haven't you heard? That's what my kids told me... I can't believe Chipotle charges extra for meat.

Well that's how restaurant's make their money... by charging for the food. If they gave everyone extra meat, they'd soon be out. They give the employees guidelines so that they can stay in the black. If that employee gave you extra, it was more than the others got... so you got special treatment b/c you complained.

Two pieces meat is not extra. Usually if I complain I ask to speak to the manager.

If you say so, but if you do not offer to pay for extra, anything they give you is just them being kind. Like I said, if everyone asked for more food, they would begin losing money... and why wouldn't everyone ask for extra food if it's being given out free?

Beth, I noticed that the waitress gave the big guy in front way more meat it covered all of his rice. And I should the same amount. And apparently this is a problem there are several articles about this matter.  I am not trying to dupe system I just wanted my fair portion. Thank you very much Ms. Beth.

This made me very sad. I went to a steak house and I was trying to order a steak. And the waiter laughed and told me that I was ordering too much meat! He suggested that I order half a steak. I wish people just let eat how I please. Very rude.
