   My views dropped 500 per day to about 20, how can I revert the awful changes they made with hubpro?

      you can revert the changes simply by hitting the edit button at the top of the hub, then going through the contents and fixing what needs to be fixed.

            manually, but in your email you should have been sent a before and after document.  you can see exactly what was changed and what the original was.

                  I have not been on in a long time, I was told that views would shoot back up in time. They got worse. I am now asking if there is an easy way to revert, as I could not find one myself. No need to be pretentious, friend.

      I'm sorry you don't like the changes, Zach.  Just to clear the air a bit, from the poking around that I did, your traffic is the same as it was 5 months ago, and we edited your Hub 3 months ago.  You did have quite a bit of views back in October of 2014, but your traffic dropped to its current levels after that and had a small spike again this October.  What happens in October around soccer?  It also looks like the first traffic spike in 2014 was mainly traffic from another Hubber.  You were likely a related Hub on a Hub that was getting a lot of traffic; it wasn't mainly Google traffic. 
      
      I don't think the editing caused your traffic fluctuations.  I think it would be interesting to see if your Hub does better this October, but it's up to you on whether you want to change it.  I would definitely recommend updating your Hub on a regular basis.  Content needs to stay fresh.  Good luck!

         It seems like a lot of people who receive editing aren't aware they can re-edit their own hubs afterward. Perhaps that can be made more obvious so fewer people freak out on the forums.

         Thank you for the information. I have not been able to see that statistics lately as I have been away from the internet for a while, I apologize if I was wrong. I must have assumed it was HubPro when it was not. You are correct about the other viewer sending clicks my way, after checking that. Thank you for the information, have a great day.

   My HubPro'd hub went from being my top traffic hub to 3rd or 4th place after the edit.
   
   The editing job was outstanding though.
   
   I'm gradually SEO tinkering with it to get the critter back on top.
   
   Not sure opting out of HubPro is a good idea. The involuntary HubBasic would probably do the same damage without giving the compensating benefits HubPro provides.

      Sadly, my Hubpro edited Hubs have not recovered the loss of page views over 3 months since they were edited.

      In the interests of fairness and full disclosure, after 3-4 weeks the hub has once again wandered back into the #1 position. All is well.

   Mine just got edited.  The editing job was really good, and I got a huge boost of FB traffic.  That hub is mainly social media driven with a little Google traffic.  I am happy with the result so far.  Maybe they shouldn't be doing major edits on the hubs that get good Google traffic and just focus on those that make the rounds every so often on social media.

   My one hub that was edited by HubPro was at an all-time high before editing. It was editing during the time they were doing away with the subdomains.
   
   I was actually excited to have my hub edited, and I thought they made some good improvements to it. They added subtitles and some nice photos. There were a few things I didn't like, but they were minor, and I changed them around.
   
   My hub did have a 2/3 drop in traffic just after. Mine never had the high traffic that the OP mentioned, nor has it dropped as low. It has fluctuated since editing and it has never regained traffic at the level it had just prior to editing.
   
   It would be easy to blame the editing for my traffic loss. I see a lot of people saying they lost traffic after editing. People tend to complain more than they sing praises though. I would be curious to know what the typical results are post-editing. Do those hubs do better or worse than HP as a whole? Do they do better or worse than that hub's own previous performance?

   I'd love to have a professional edit but I can see the downsides too if it greatly affects traffic. The editors only want to make it better and maybe it's a longer term strategy for traffic success post-editing.

      I do not want to set myself up for another charge of being pretentious, but I would like to suggest you go ahead with this program if you get the chance, despite negative comments you might read on these forums. I have had about 25 hubs edited so far and the results have been good. (The one hub that was affected negatively bounced back a few weeks ago, but since then has gone down again. I have to blame this on the cyclical internet, not the HP editing.)

   I found that I received a little more traffic and the Hub that was edited looked better.  It is still rated the same as it was.  I think of it as a good thing, especially if you can go back and make changes to what you do not like.
