Hub Unfeatured After Making Changes Requested by Editor

Is it no longer possible to respond to editors when they send an email? The two times I've tried it bounced back as undeliverable. I included the Team address so hopefully someone sees it. I'm posting here also in case they do not.

I received an email saying if I edited my Hub it could be moved to a niche site. So I did. I significantly reduced the incidences of certain keywords, as the editor requested. As a result, my Hub is now unfeatured, and I got an email back saying thanks for your submission to the niche site but, sorry, we can't move it because it isn't featured.

Huh? I didn't choose to submit this to the niche site. The editor requested it.

I figure if there is something else wrong with the Hub it should have been noted in the email from the editor. I made the exact changes they requested. They made no mention of of anything else, and there really isn't anything about the Hub that seems like it would cause it to be unfeatured.

Not sure what to make of this one.

I just took a look and it looks like your article was unfeatured by mistake. We have manually re-featured it and it will be moved to Holidappy soon. Thanks for letting us know this happened and sorry for the mixup!

Thank you, Christy! I was hoping it was just an error. All is well now.

Sorry for making a fuss, but was very confused. smile

I am glad to see this response to this question. Now I know that posting to the forum is the way to get an answer to this problem.

With HubPro, you could contact the editor, but if you've just got an invitation to submit, then no you can't contact them - you just have to send an email to the Team email.

It seems very strange that a Hub could get unFeatured because you removed something!   Hope you get an answers soon.

    Similar thing happened to me.
Got an email telling me a particular hub can be moved to owlcation if I can effect some changes, which I did.

Then after spending time working on it and re-submitting, I get an email telling me the hub can't be moved to a niche site because of its topic . . . For crying out loud!
