    You've made a hub about a thread.

And now you've made a thread about a hub.

There also seems to be a sense of deja vu to the whole thing. A similar thing happened at Squidoo. And when people expressed their view on your actions you got rather snappy at them. And after a while you settled down. And then you gave the whole thing a positive spin.

I'm curious as to why it would appear that you feel this intense need to have a spotlight on you at all times.

What will be the next site that you're going to capitalize on? Let me know so I can book front row seats and watch the spectacle.

Tiffany, have a question, I just started with Hubpages and when I go to post content
the formatting is very strange, what am I doing wrong?

Also how does one get traffic to their Hubpage?

Reason I am asking as I saw the many threads debating your writing an eBook for profit (which this is a Capitalist country and anyone can write content for profit can't we ?) wink
so I figure maybe you can show your HubPage expertise and answer those questions, I would appreciate it. (since I am assuming the ebook isnt written yet. )

Also, I have to say I have purchased several Tiffany's ebooks and enjoyed them, if I may be so bold to ask, do you personally write all the content or have a ghostwriter to write your content?

BTW this is a good question for the rest of you who are either pro or con on writing ebooks,
do you all consider that asking questions about hubpages from the pro's here, scraping content in a sense?

Was that what the entire thread about the ebook was about?

    Thanks Tiffany and all!

Sorry, Glen - not fighting in the forum anymore. But I emailed you direct smile

I had the same thing happen to me at first. I'd paste my Word doc content into the text capsule and it would be a weird print and stretch all across the page (into the white space). Then I started writing right into my text module instead of pasting from Word, and that worked instantly.

However, for the ones I had pasted that looked screwey, all I did was click paragraph and it went into normal format for the 1st paragraph, and then I deleted the extra space and pulled up subsequent paragraphs and they all formatted correctly.

But I'm looking into an easier way so I don't have that problem if I paste from Word.

Traffic? That's a huge part of the Hub eBook. Only for people who don't know, but getting traffic to a Hub won't be any different from getting it to any site - same techniques. That goes for any site online. Part of it will be based on SEO for your keywords, content, etc., and the other will be actions you take to generate traffic (bookmarking, cross-promoting, and a few other strategies).

Whether or not Tiffany is a HubPages expert, she most certainly can enlighten you on strategies for bringing traffic.

She's obviously been able to bring herself enough traffic to build her list and sell her products, and it doesn't matter whether you have a Hub or a regular web page, traffic strategies are pretty much the same.

Check out the threads started by crazyhorsesghost, too, for traffic strategies.

Thanks Tiffany, that was my biggest problem so far in setting up a hub,  how to format the content.Glad to know I am not the only one that had that problem.

Good point as to getting traffic, there are many different ways to utilize SEO strategies it seems, dependent upon the media.  I guess that's true to say that one can the use same tactics as one uses for other sites be they Hubs or Lens etc. BUT if anyone has secrets they want to share I am all ears......  big_smile

Please note: The first post in this thread consisted only of a link to a hub Tiffany wrote in response to a previous thread that was closed.

I don't see a point in reopening this subject.  If you'd like to find the hub that Tiffany posted, navigate to her profile to do so.  If you'd like to talk about SEO strategies and backlinking, share your knowledge at Project Backlink or one of the many relevant forum threads.

This thread will be closed pre-emptively, before it gets out of hand.
