i am new to hubs and i was wondering why my hub seems to  have been relegated to the bottom of the pile, what do i need to do to get fans and be seen?

Also, can i create a link to my facebook?

Fans you will get in HP and through subscription from other people via email and RSS. I use my RSS feed from my profile page posted to FB which shows my latest Hubs. Generate traffic to your Hubs, forum activity, Hubtivity will report HP activity n your score will rise. Welcome to HubPages smile you found a site full of awesome people and a fantastic HP team.

Hey Paul - welcome to hubpages smile

It isn't at the bottom of the pile, as such. You're new to the site therefore you need to build on what you've begun. A bit like blogging I suppose - you have to build up your reputation in a way. Just hub, publish quality articles - recognition willl come.

And participation in the community will generate fans etc. Read and rate articles, leave feedback/comments, post in the forum, answer requests and stuff from the idea bank - join the fan clubs of those you like or enjoy reading.

    Hope that helps smile

Hi, my name is jerry Layton, also known as the old grouch.
The word "Old" applies very aptly to me because im' approaching, with trepidation, my 82nd birthday. "Grouch" is also applicable, and lately that has become my predominant mood.
I write with an attitude that used to be called sardonic.
I started five months ago with political comments.  I am an independent, who calls them as I see them.  I wll continue with them as I see major boo boos happening and our cuntry getting a direty deal.
Howeverm politics is no really my bag.
I am a master of the arts.
In my lifetime I have been a singer, actor, producer, director, choreographer, novelist, playwright, scenic designer and critic.
I am now gathering together the courage and strength to launch an e-zine called ARTSY FARTSY: An Average Man's Bible of the Arts.
I plan to solicit my fellow hubber for contributions.
I will promote it, and, if it is successful, I will pay my contributors.
I'm a lonely old codge, so why not drop by my site.  Give my reviews, especialy the ones about ABC's Comedy Hour, Flash Forward and Dancing With the Stars a read.
Give me a comment. Join my fan club.  I'll join yours.
Maybe it will surn out to be one of the great literary partnerships of all time.

    Thank you,
    Jerry

Jerry - you're almost 82 huh? Wow. Then I'd say I could learn much from a person that is twice as old as I am. I will look at what you have to say. I miss the old folks in my life - very much so. WEclome, Old One smile

    Welcome Paul, and Jerry--

What the Frog said is exactly it--as you grow in experience, your hubs will get more views and been seen and featured more often. The more active you are (commenting, publishing, using the forums), the more fans and views you will get big_smile

So hang in there and keep active and it will all fall into place.

And you can link to your face book acct on your profile here by placing a link in the about me section of your profile.
You can also link to HP from Facebook by putting a link to your profile or individual hub on a post smile
