   60,000 quit AARP between July 1 and August 18 specifically because of AARP's backing of Obama's healthcare bill. For an organization to lose that many members in so short a time is giant statement that it's members are extremely unhappy with it's actions.

         I'm pointing out a fact, which you can't seem to grasp the significance of because it doesn't fit in with your denial of what's going on around you. You then sling out the insult of "hyperventilating" because you have nothing of your own to offer. Rather than look up any facts on AARP your approach is to attack with condescension. If you want to refute the significance of the loss of AARP membership, do so with facts you yourself have researched and stop relying on everyone else to do it for you.

   Your "facts" still do not address the significance of it's loss of membership. Nannis, of course, doesn't want it to seem like a big deal so he points out that they lose 300,000 per month "anytime there is a controversial issue." What does that mean? How many "controversial" issues does AARP address?
   
   Secondly, any organization that loses 300,000 members a month is definitely doing something wrong.
   
   It doesn't make sense.
   
   And see if you can comment without some form of condescension. I'm sure you can manage it if you really try.
