It's usually safe to assume that any picture that is not your own or in a 'free pictures' library will be someone's copyright. Wherever possible, it's best to take your own pictures. It's also more fun. But where it's not possible, e.g. a historical hub about Henry VIII, borrowing a stock picture from Wiki probably isn't going to land you in trouble. When the picture isn't your own, it's best to credit the source.
I have a lot of free photos for you to use, here at HubPages.
Free Photos For Hubbers!
Check them out.
Best Regards
I would say only if the person allows you to take it. I don't know how photo bucket works and if you can apply a creative commons license like you can at Flickr.
Wikipedia uses copyright free photographs so we can use them also.

Where do you get free photos for your hubs?Is it true that you need a model release if someone's face is in the picture. How about posting a pic of a celebrity? If I'm doing a product review can I post a picture of the product? What about logos in your pictures?

I wanted to post this under questions, but I wrote too much. The topic may sound like a stupid question, but hear me out. I want to e-publish my first book and I am using my own pictures. Some of the pictures are of common children's toys. I want to know if that will break any copyright laws or...
