Customized Profile

   I think it would be cool to be able to customize the hubs that show up when someone clicks on our profile. That way we can pick our favorite ones to offer. People know whether they want to read what you have to offer in the first couple of seconds, so why not?
   
   What do you guys think?

      You can add as many links as you like in your profile "blurb", including links to your Hubs.

   I think they change around a bit already, I am going to read how not to make your hubby laugh...
   
   your idea seems cool, but sometimes, a hub you may think will bomb, so therefore wont put out front, does surprisingly well.

      The reason I bring it up is because when someone is clicking on my profile, they mainly see the sports and humor hubs and no poetry. My sis has told me several times she's been to my profile and hasn't seen my poetry straight off. But thanks for reading my hub.

         hmmm..I see. yeah, that would be a cool feature. If you can pick say..3 you want to remain out front, then the rest rotate aroudnd as they usally do?

            Exactly. So there's still variety but the one's you really want people to see you could kind of 'push'...

   I have often thought the same thing; It would be cool if we could pick the hubs or categories that display on profile page.
   
   You can always manually add links to the hubs you wish to attract attention to. I do that with a few of my hubs on profile page.

   I would not like to change that feature, everything about this site is set up to maximise the flow of traffic and SEO potential - I would be very careful about altering even the smalles of dynamics. Traffic to your hubs is often traffic to your other hubs or somebody elses hubs.
   
   I would not be adverse, however, to having a small strip above or below that which features the 3-5 hubs which you would want somebody to read.... say those which you believe best showcase your talents.
   
   It could perhaps be titled "authors picks" or "ryankett's personal favourites".
   
   Your idea isn't a bad one, I just wouldn't alter that current feature in anyway, it works.
