Dear Hubbers,
Yes, it is I - CAGSIL!
I want to bring to your ATTENTION a little known fact about life.
If you HOPE for something, you are 'wishing' for something.
Does this make it become true or truth? NO, it doesn't.
So, Why are you willing to sacrifice your existence?
For a mystical higher power.
Are you gullible enough to believe someone else knows what is best for you?
You can't be serious.
How ever, since I've put this under "religion and beliefs" - exploring options - ETHICS and Perspectives.
We can only discuss ETHICS of believing in something that isn't real. Your perspective is skewed by the fact that you believe your hope is justified and therefore on that basis you have declared what you've been told as truth.
Ethically, you are violating your own good conscience and your very existence, by forcing your body to endure the worse pain, it could ever feel.
A portion of the brain, being dedicated to believing in a mystical realm of non-existence, where nothing is real.
You are damaging your own sound judgement about what you know about your own life or what you've come to understand about your life.
The fact that you spend stupendous amounts of your life, over the course of your life, simply dedicated to worshipping something that is in anything other than reality is sad.
By the way, when I say "GOD" doesn't exist is because he doesn't exist.
Reality says "He doesn't live here!"
Science says "There is no such being!" or "Realm".
These two things- dismiss the existence of "GOD".
This is the position I stand on. You can not provide any PROOF to counter. Even, with the 'bible' as your guide, because it doesn't have any truth in it to begin with.
But, if you want- let's talk about it. Let's try to keep it civilized.
