Thrilled for my friend!
My friend just called from Hawaii - she and her family went there for her brother's wedding. This is the first time in her life she's been out of the continental U.S.!
I was totally caught off guard the first time I went to another country to find that the very atmosphere felt different. Hawaii may be part of America but it's different enough from Utah to be like another country so I'm being thrilled for her experiencing this!
