I posted the same question a couple of days ago, but haven't been answered, so I decided to post a new topic on it. So please guide me this time. I am new to hubpages. (I am pasting the same answer again, that is to be asked, so m not spamming here.)
Actually I am new to hubpages and also having some difficulties regard the adsense issue. I applied for it, filled the form and it said that google will approve my application.
Important points to be noted here are:
1. The status in my affiliate settings is "Pending Google Application Approval"
2. It is like 3-4 days I filled the form, but haven't received any reply yet.
3. The affiliate code "ca-pub-***********" is being shown in the respective section.
4. There is a sign up button available in my affiliate settings.
Moreover, I am confused because it all seems to be like I haven't got the approval yet, but the adsesne is being showing in my hubs
Now what is with that adsense neutral and what will be those earnings that I might have earned with it (if I get the approval later) ?
Please guide. Thank you all and thanks to hubpages for such a supportive forum.
1. You haven't been accepted yet.
2. Google can take one or two weeks to get round to checking your application
3. That's good
4. That will remain there until google accepts your application, and you then log into adsense and allow hubpages to access the google API for your account
5. Until you finish linking your hubpages account with adsense, hubpages will still run adds, and it will keep the money (if any) they generate
6. You only get 60% of impressions for adsense after you have linked a working adsense account in your affiliate settings
7. And you haven't done that yet, and can't until adsense approves your account.
8. Which may take several weeks for adsense to do, and it is beyond hubpages control to speed up or influence (adsense may not even choose to accept you).
Also, it is against the forum rules to put a link to hubs in this section, you can only link to your hubs in the extreem makeover section.
I'm not sure if this is because they are back-logged or Google just has a policy about not responding to queries regarding already approved adsense accounts.
You will get it. It takes time. As I remember it took a few weeks after approval, but I did get it.
If you haven't got approval, then you're not earning anything. It takes more than a few days to get your account number and it may take months if you are based in Asia. Those Adsense ads are being run by Hubpages. Once you get approval from Adsense you get this long string of numbers. You place those numbers in the affiliate code setting after "ca-pub-***********". Your status should change to "Active".
You start earning once readers click on ads on your page. Since you are waiting for google adsense, you might as well sign up to be an Amazon affiliate. For additional information, click on "help" next to "contest" on the upper right hand corner. You'll get more information on how things work at Hubpages. Welcome aboard!
Thanks for you valuable information.
One thing I would like to confirm here. By "long string of numbers" do you mean those 16 digit numbers after ca-pub?
If yes, then in the affiliate code box, I have those numbers already available, like ca-pub-523********** and the status is set to "Pending Google Application approval", Sign up button is there and a link to Check your google earnings is there too, but when I click it, it opens a page saying Account is not active (review time)
Does it mean that I am in the reviewing period and I have to wait a week or so?
But then what is that ca-pub-16 digit code?
They assign you your account number before they accept the account.
Yes you are in the reviewing period.
Make sure to regularly check the spam folder in your email account, because adsense messages to end up in there sometimes.
Thank you so much
You really cleared my mind.
P.S : I removed the links as you told, it is against the rules
Peace. Thanks again
You're welcome.
I had a look at one of your hubs, and they are quite good. Just as a comment, on one of them there is a photo that takes up the entire screen on my laptop when you first log in.
Of course, everyone is different, but when that happens I often just click to the next page, because I assume that is all.
You might keep people on your hub longer if you start off with text, and have photo's on the right hand side.
Okay, I'll keep that in mind
Thanks for your time, reviewing my work.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...
