Last April 12, I received an email from Google Adsense. It says:
Hello,
As mentioned in our welcome email, we conduct a second review of your
AdSense application once AdSense code is placed on your site(s). As a
result of this review, we have disapproved your account for the following
violation(s):
Issues:
- Site does not comply with Google policies
---------------------
Further detail:
Site does not comply with Google policies: We're unable to approve your
AdSense application at this time because we feel that your site does not
comply with Google AdSense policies or webmaster quality guidelines. It's
our goal to provide our advertisers sites that offer rich and meaningful
content, receive organic traffic, and allow us to serve well-targeted ads
to users. We believe that currently your site does not fulfill this
criteria.
I have read the said guidelines but still, I want to learn from a hubber's perspective. What should I do in order to have my Google Adsense account activated? Please share tips and your personal experiences. Thanks!
There is an appeal process. Sometimes if you have a new site with little content there is a rejection - this happened when I first started my blog Finding Fiji and applied. However after two weeks, with daily postings and my appeal it got approved.
Good for you. Do you think I just have to publish addtional hubs?
It's harder now to get approved for Adsense than it once was before HP got caught for allowing spammy and misleading content on this site. I'd try adding more hubs and try again after a couple of months or so. Good luck!
Aww... So I guess I still won't be able to earn from my hubs But I take this as a challenge. Thanks for the comment Randy!
Hello, I have been disapproved by google adsense many times, and have just stopped trying. I also lost my google adwords account because I was promoting a website that violated their rules and was not aware I was doing so, and therefore, I can never advertise on their pay per click again. Im sorry about your plight...
Sorry to hear that, dear. Right now, I have resubmitted my application only once so I will not stop yet. Maybe I'll try adding more content then I'll see if it will be approved. If not, that's when I will decide.
Maybe also try opening a blog account and aplying from adsense from there. When you have encough content it will be approved and that will also be configured to apply to hub pages. Good luck.
I randomly checked 3 of your hubs. I have absolutely no idea why Google would close your account.
Have you read the ToS and made sure you're not breaking any Adsense rules?
Some common subjects that can cause issues include:
Sex, drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, suicide, violence and other sensitive topics.
I haven't applied for Adsense yet. I have 2 hubs so it is still to early. The thing is, I have no idea how many hubs I should publish (or how old my Hubpages account should be) before I apply. Does anyone know?
