I'm a little puzzled .. I had a message from adsense a few days ago saying one of my sites was dodgy .. It was a very old site I can no longer access so to circumnavigate that I set the only site to be allowed as hubpages ... Today I have had 8 impressions with 7 coming from hubpages. Can't understand how the other one has been registered if it's from a site that I haven't allowed

I don't really have any assistance to your query, but I can add that I have been receiving a notice at the top of my adsense results stating that "sites I have not authorised have been showing my ads." This is strange because I have my acceptance to allow any sites to try and reduce error from other revenue sharing sites. (Though I've sinse taken some time to add all sites to hopefully clear the miscommunication)

I have notived other posts here of late of strange encounters with adsense. Maybe G is having some issues.

Hope it works out. I did notice that their is a place to contact them. If you are concerned at all I might just just shoot them a messege of explanation.

    Good Luck.

Allowing any sites is not a good idea. Only allow those sites which:

      a) you own

      and

      b) you trust

Unscruplous individuals will 'borrow' other peoples AdSense ID in order to get their sites indexed. Often these are adult sites, and if you haven't defined your "allowed sites" you could find your account banned as a result.

I allow 6 different revenue sharing sites to show my AdSense ID, and currently have it allowed on 3 of my personal sites. That is it.

If you have specific allowed sites then you have not allowed all sites. Either you have specific them or you haven't.

I've set it to allow hubpages.com and that's it.  I know I have old sites lurking from many years back that I have no way of cancelling and they would have had adsense codes on and indeed I got a warning about one of them which led me to not allow any but hubpages but according to today's impressions, one must have come from somewhere else which is a bit concerning

My understanding was that Google still recorded the impression, but that you don't earn from them?

Thank you, Ryan! I value your assistance. I have now specified the sites to allow. I couldn't figure it out... very puzzling. And with all this google shake up going on it was leading my mind to wonder.

I have recently signed up with snipsly and another site, YET I just had an A-ha monent.. I had added the wordpress google analytics plugin to two sites and it needed my adsense id and analytics id, plus had brought me to adsense to verify. Needless to say, this is where I see the problem was and just deleted it from my sites.(My experience) I don't think G likes it and really I don't know who these creators are.

        Thank you very much.

On another note. I have noticed serps changing for the better - not so many google products and Amazon taking over the top ratings. My latest micro-niche sites are back to #1 which is very exciting. Now to see if they convert... I've noticed they seem more stable with NOT having adsense on them. This suits me fine. I'd rather learn to have more fluidity with converting sales with more fun focus sites.

Hope things are on the up rise for you!
