Okay, so I just published a new hub, and right when I publish it, the hub goes from a 50 to a 0?
I've never had this happen before, and it's not like it's a crappy blog or something. I did "all" of my research before hand, and for my standards it's a good blog.
I understnad that my niche is dogs and dog breeds, but my other new horse hub doesn't have a freakin' zero! Would that maybe have to do with anything?
Now, one of my blogs is a 97.. and I "know" it's not 97 rating material.
I wouldn't worry about it for a few days after first publishing it - sometimes the number can go up and down a lot during that time.
Jason, in my 19 months here I have NEVER heard of a hub dropping from 50 to ZERO?
You're kidding right?
I swear, I'm not kidding. My hub within "litterally" two seconds went from a 50 to 0 score.
I just hub hopped. It looks like all new hubs now start at zero.
I just published a hub and it is at 0 right now. Someone I follow just published a hub with a 0 score, too. Also, one of my hubs that is not so great has a score of 98. Obviously, there are some errors in the system right now. Hopefully they will fix it soon. I've never had a 0 before for anything on here.
Now every hub has a score of 50! I am going to log off. I am sure it will be fixed when I come back.
Like has already been said, it seems hubs now start on 0.
But, that makes it more difficult for ALL to get Hubscores up to the minimum 40 which is required for dofollow links?
How was this change NOT announced to the community beforehand?
Yeah, I agree. I really think that Hubpages would announce something like this. For as long as I've been on Hubpages, they've always seemed to be really great about announcing any changes and etc...
Another case of you thinking that your 'observations' are equal to facts?
I know, the same thing happened to me on my other account. It was a 51 right before I published it, then immediately went to a zero. Something's fishy. Come on..!
Whether it is a temporary glitch, or new algorithm, it is the same for everyone.
I voted up this hub and marked it "useful" so why does it not show that it's been marked useful? Is that on a delay and I've never noticed before? I thought it was recorded and posted immediately.
There have been delays with those pesky buttons before. Eventually they catch up.
Well, thanks for the help theherbivorehippi.
Follow-up:
I just hub hopped. There are still issues.
"Osama Bin Laden Video Game 0 "
And there's a couple others.
The hub I published today also went down. When I published it was at 50 now it is at 0.
On the other hand I had a couple of hubs shoot up to 98 during that samw time.
They are still like that.

When I published a hub a couple of weeks ago it reached a score of 96. Wow! I almost convinced myself that I had finally got it right! Wrong! Two weeks later the hub now has a score of 88! What should I read into that? Most people say that one should not concern...

Is there a benefit to waiting to publish your hub?Is there a benefit for waiting for your hub score to become higher before hitting the publish button? I noticed if it takes awhile to get everything arranged that sometimes the hub score starts to climb. Is there any benefits until waiting until it...

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

I am presently putting together an article that is not published, obviously. But, I already have a Hub Score showing for it. Any ideas how this can be? Doesn't seem fair does it?I mean how can you score an incomplete article that has not been published yet and a low score to boot? Lower than any...

Hello! Thanks for reading my post!I'm not sure what I did here but I was liking my hub, was anticipating the usual hubscore of 50 when first published and the page kept loading when I attempted to publish, the hub is published but it has a score of zero! What did I do wrong? I don't see any...

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...
