To answer your question about caring for a member with heart disease. I would without a doubt try to give them as much support and attention as I possibly could. Let them know you are there 100% of the time for them, and will do whatever it takes to help them. But remember you are human as well, and do have a life, so do not forget about yourself either. Family comes first however, no matter what other obstacles get in the way. Also establishing a good working relationship with a cardiologist will also assist during these trying times. Not just to provide medical treatment for your family member, but also to provide useful feedback to help you cope.
