Now it is a blooming country, forepost of culture, science and progress in the MIddle East.

Israel spreads from north to south for 292 miles and from west to east for 84 miles in the widest place. You can cross it in several hours. It has several climate zones, from snow on the Mount Hermon to desert and tropics. When my friends living in Israel got married, they got a book about places to visit in Israel.
