A Guide to Holy Land Tours: Israel Hubtrail.
Coat of Arms of Israel
State of Israel
Many people have very little idea about how beautiful and developed the country of Israel is. After this land was under Turkish and later British mandate, it was drained and emptied, woods were rooted out for coal, and it was nothing but swamps and bogs, sands and rocks and was rather scarcely populated.
Now it is a blooming country, forepost of culture, science and progress in the MIddle East.
Israel is a blooming place revived from sands and bogs
Israel spreads from north to south for 292 miles and from west to east for 84 miles in the widest place. You can cross it in several hours. It has several climate zones, from snow on the Mount Hermon to desert and tropics. When my friends living in Israel got married, they got a book about places to visit in Israel. They were travelling by car every other weekend by the book sites. They are married for 11 years by now. They didn’t cover the entire book yet.

People who visit Israel say that there is something special about it. Something special in the air. Air in Israel is different. Aura there is different. Even experienced travelers, who went around the globe, who visited all corners of the world admit that Israel stays apart from other places.

The Hebrew Bible (TANAKH) describes Israel as a land blessed with seven fruits and grains:

Israeli borders
In the West - the Mediterranean Sea and the Gaza Strip; in the North - Lebanon and Syria; in the East - Jordan and the Palestinian Authority's autonomous territories; and in the South - Egypt and the Red Sea.
Israel is a very small country and on many maps there's even no place for printing its name. You have to check the number in references to read the word "Israel". Despite its small size, Israel is home to a variety of geographic features. You can ski on Mount Hermon and at the next day swim with dolphins in Red Sea.
Jerusalem of Gold
No doubt that Jerusalem is number one, a must to visit place. While in Jerusalem you have many many sites worth visiting.
When Hebrew speaking people want to say that they go to Jerusalem, they say "we ascend to Jerusalem" (this is how it sounds in Hebrew), and "descend" when they go out of the city.

Tel Aviv is a city without stop (Ir le lo afsaka). During day light you'll see a long beach line with high hotels along the sea coast.
The city of Tel Aviv is located on the Mediterranean Sea and is a mixture of business and seaside resort.
