Obama Speaks, Chuck Todd Defends
The President speaks….Chuck Todd Answers,
What is up with this? Chuck Todd, no matter what Obama does, is in charge of supplying the guy’s excuses or explanations for why he acts the way he acts. When, on the Today Show, he is asked why the President thought the condition of the county’s condition was funny, (from hi s time on Jay Leno, 60 Minutes, and any where else he showed up) Chucky said that the President had a rough week.
You’re kidding. The people who had a rough week, those who lost there jobs, or their homes, probably wouldn’t have found a lick of humor in the current conditions of this country. However, those who support this President can come up with just about any explanation as to why he acts the way he acts. Oh, should I be capitalizing the word “He”? That’s what they do in the Bible, when they are speaking of “God”.
Chuck Todd had become a political whore. He doesn’t even look comfortable any more on the Today Show when he is trying to explain the President’s actions. David Gregory, his predecessor, at least maintained some semblance of objectivity in his reports. Todd looks like he dresses the man every day and needs to defend him. It’s a damn shame, because I used to appreciate NBC. But I guess they are working overtime to show that they support the President, even at the risk at looking like they are their own lobby group. That’s not how you improve your ratings!
What I see lately, is the people who supported Obama, trying to look like they are putting him under the microscope, as if they are concerned about what the man is doing. It’s amazing to watch. Those people who sold their souls to support the guy, trying to act like they are objective about what he and the democrats are doing. Here’s one for you: let’s relieve the banks of their “toxic assets”. That will be a “trillion dollars, please”. If I recall this properly, that was the Republican resolve back in November of 2008. Now that the new, Non-Washington group is in, it’s now their idea!!!! I had a boss one time, that wouldn’t accept your ideas. However, if you didn’t mind waiting, he would have this epiphany while in the shower a few weeks after your suggestion that sounded just like what you suggested. Any port in a storm. Problem is, most people don’t remember who the original authors of the thought were.
Slowly, but surely, the American Public, no matter who they voted for, will start to understand that we don’t need a puppet-spokesperson for the Democrats. They will realize, just as they did in the 90’s, that you cannot spend more than you have, put us deeper into debt, and call it progress. We had too much debt under Bush, due to poor decisions on defending us. At least he was trying to defend us, rather than doing attempted liplocks with the Arab Terrorists. Nevertheless, you can’t increase the debt by 200%, and then claim to cut it in half, so at the end the increase is only 100%. The Democrats are counting on the fact that too many Americans are just not good at math. I feel like we are going into Circuit City, on their bankruptcy sale, where they give you fifty percent off their prices that they raised thirty percent. If you can do the math, you will realize, it wasn’t much of a deal. Obama and the Democrats are counting on the fact that you can’t count.
Did I go all over the place?....Sorry, don’t care. Chuck, keep it up, because NBC is trying for a new low in their ratings. The Tonight Show has a sitting President on? We chose not to watch, despite the fact that we love Jay Leno. Sorry Jay, hope you can still afford your car collection after the Dems are done with you. Oh, that’s right; you have enough bread that it you can afford to be liberal. What I have seen is simple; the Liberals either have so much money (usually that they didn’t earn on their own) that it doesn’t matter, or they have nothing and need the support of those that have the money. Okay, this is border line ranting, and I assume you expect more from me. My apologies.
