Mashed Potato Recipe
Mashed potatoes are a great addition to any meal, especially at holidays. The one thing I've always looked forward to on holidays wasn't the desserts, or the turkey or ham. It was the mashed potatoes. So let me give you the mashed potato recipe that everyone has always asked us for.
By the way, this also works perfect the my pot roast recipe that I had published earlier.
You will need:
8 to 10 big potatoes
1 8 oz box of cream cheese
Heavy whipping cream (I usually get the bigger one just in case but how much you use is up to you)
Instructions for the mashed potato recipe:
Peel then cook potatoes until soft. Mix together the potatoes and cream cheese, adding heavy whipping cream slowly until you get the creamy consistency you want. Add salt and pepper to taste.
