Easy Shrimp Dip Recipes

Chilled Shrimp Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of tiny shrimp, drained
  • 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened (do not use fat free)
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • ½ cup of plain nonfat yogurt
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon of chili powder

Preparation Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir together until well blended. Place in a dip bowl and chill until ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with crackers, pita chips, melba toast rounds, or celery stalks. You can also use this dip mix as filling for tasty tortilla rollups. Simply spread a thin layer on a tortilla, roll tightly, and slice prior to serving.

Warm Shrimp Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 cans of tiny shrimp, drained
  • 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened (do not use fat free)
  • 1 tablespoon of horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon of minced onion
  • 3- 5 drops of Tabasco sauce

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir together until well blended. Place in a pie plate or other small baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, or until warm and bubbly.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve warm with crackers, pita chips, tortilla chips, melba toast rounds, or raw vegetables.

Shrimp Cocktail Spread

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon of horseradish
  • 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened (do not use fat free)
  • 1 can of tiny shrimp, drained

Preparation Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix the horseradish and ketchup until well combined. Spread the cream cheese in a thin, even layer on a plate. Spread the ketchup and horseradish sauce in an even layer on top of the cream cheese. Sprinkle the shrimp on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with crackers, pita chips, tortilla chips, melba toast rounds, or raw veggies.
