Asleep at last.

They are finally asleep -- well, almost.
They are finally asleep -- well, almost.

Go To Sleep My Dear

by Annette Gagliardi

Restless legs sail up - then down
Arms wave round and round
Fingers fidget
Small body squirms
Little mouth whispers
    Go to sleep my dear

Mime our morning song
Sit up for a new sound
Look at the dog
Fall off pretend log
Yawn, jiggle and fuss
    Go To Sleep My Dear

Squeeze eyes tight
Phone rings
Doorbell chimes
Airplane loud overhead
I think you should
Just stay in bed
    Go To Sleep My Dear

Close the door
Rub little eyes
Yawn some more
Drink denied
Lullaby tried
    Fast asleep my dear
