Online Writing Websites - Top Sites!

Updated on September 3, 2012

Earn While Writing!

I have been writing online for about 3 years now, I have stepped into some great websites and have fallen into not so great websites. After much research, a lot of headaches, backaches and of course, writing aches, I have figured out a few things here and there.  I am giving you my experiences and what has helped me over the years and where I have seen the most profit.  However, you need to find our what works for you and helps you the most during your journey of writing online.

Writing on Hubpages and making money!

Write and Earn!

What I do know is that not all of these tips will work for you. This information I am giving you is a “guide” and it will help you start or enhance your writing career but you will have to find your own voice when it comes to writing. I can give you my secrets and all the glorious tips but truly, you have to find your own path to making the profit, and we all know, we each have our path to finding our career. If you do implement my tips then I suggest you continue forth with developing your style and websites that work best for your writing career. Just start your writing career and continue to improve all the time (my best tip of the day).

However, I think I can help you with some of the work in learning to write online. Better yet, to help you fast forward through some of the bullsh$t and plow through to the other side, the sweet spot of earning money via websites, blogging, internet, etc. With all of this, keep in mind that you have to work HARD, it doesn’t come easy. So if you think by applying all my tips you will instantly make money, then you are severely wrong. Be logical, my friend, not everything comes to us so easy (if it did, I would be a millionaire by now).

First, sign up here on Hubpages, easiest way to make money online (in my opinion). Trust me; write your articles (aka hubs), your thoughts and start hubbing. At first, I was afraid too but you will find friends and learn what works, you will start finding your style. In addition, you will make money (sign up for Google AdSense immediately). The biggest key to Hubpages is writing, learning and making sure you have your Google Adsense account (pay per click) Amazon and EBay accounts are so important, making money with all three companies. Don’t forget to follow the Hubpages FAQ’s to learn the process of Hubpages. The community is open and friendly, get on the forums, ask your questions and read other questions. It’s all about learning, my friend, so hop to it!

Second, set up a blog, I recommend blogger (by Google) because I can tie my Hubpages google account to the same account as my blog, thus, the same Google AdSense code for both programs. Viola, it’s a match made in heaven, trust me. I love blogging, it can be long, short, emotional or highlighting sports, music or anything that you love. Blogging is an outlet that I get pleasure from and I am making money on the side, try it, you will find the release of these emotions is a good thing. I have researched other “free” blogs to set up and although all add a different twist, blogger is free and very easy to use.

Third, click here and sign up for shetoldme this is a website where you can advertise your articles and your blog. Other bloggers, writers, authors, readers and many others visit this website. Not to mention, you can browse and find out anything you need to know on life. All these resources I am giving you work and shetoldme, along with Hubpages are a combination of human power with an abundance of information that is helpful to all species. By the way, this website is also connected to the Google AdSense too, so you can use your same Google AdSense account on this site as well. PS, it’s a win-win for you and Google.

Finally, write, write and then write some more, then start making money. It is about networking, so start networking and help find your voice. These are very simple tips to start your writing career; however, you will have to add your own flare to each of the above steps. Find your voice, improve your voice and continue to get louder with your voice. It is worth it, it helped me to just start writing, to find the time to write and I found the love for writing. I am sure there are more insightful websites that you can do but my goal is to give you a little jump start, a little push so you will start writing, make money and never give up writing. More importantly, I love to read and learn, so I hope by reading this you have picked up a few new tips that will help you develop your voice, your career boost your writing life and make you some money too. Good luck!
