Start by understanding the basics, writing is a system of human communication by means of visual symbols and signs. The most primitive stages of "writing" or markings on objects date back to almost the earliest man. Keep in mind the first fully develop systems of word writing appeared only about 5,000 years ago! So no amount of brilliance or skill can serve to make a writer successful unless he or she has the creative impulse to sit down and to work and keep working hard!
