Haiku
Haiku at it's worst?
Each of my children including my son-in-law are "fun-poets" each of their birthday cards etc. are always full of side-splitting rhyming verses. They have not attempted my Haiku style yet. I'm probably not following all the rules that go along with this type of poetry, but it sure is fun.
A poet I'll never be.
Present a bakers dozen;
in trade for a smile.

I'm a'feared, I've been fleeced
that crooks 'shear' delight.

pitter patter, puppy feet
slurp; big wet pooch smooch.

hides in thesaurus deep,
just a play with words.
