Louis' Love Poems to Cavell

Updated on August 27, 2013

Poems are a way of sharing your soul.

I went trough a dramatic divorce and was a broken man. Two people stood out that helped me back to health and back on track.

This two poems is to say thank You To them.

There is a story in a story and see if you can understand the deeper meaning of the poem.

It's not about literary accomplishment, but about touching hearts and witnessing through poetry.

Louis $ Cavell 2006.

Cavell my Red Rose.

Poem for my wife Cavell - My Love!

She looked up from her work
Love so unmistakably shining from her face
Her smile softens my mood
Her soft voice brings a peace so tender

Soft hands that know how to love
Her words always to bring to ease
Actions that shows she cares
With a warm heart that's always there

Her loving arms never fail
When the tears are so frail
Wisdom is her strength
No gold or riches could replace

Handpicked by the creator
Replacement for the broken
Helper and healer he commanded
Mender of the broken hearted

Power and fire as she prays
Shook the world around her
As she protects her given
No mercy for them that wants to hurt

Picking up the weary and tired
Always encouraging giving hope
The lover of my soul
The mommy to her clone

Cavell my white Rose

Love peom to Jesus and Cavell!

You made me whole!

Life on Earth is empty and dull,
Without meaning, so cold and alone.
I was in the desert of life,
Thrown away by God and men,
Lost in this cruel world, so I thought.

Broken and bleeding,
Lost and broken.
Like a wounded animal,
Without hope and ready to die,

But, then God came.
He saved me, He gave me life
He made me whole, He made me more,
He gave me you.

He used you to help the process of healing
Giving back the lost hope;
He used you to love me,
Just as I am.

In your caring love I was healed.
He used you to help rebuild this lost human soul,
You gave me all I need on this earth and more.
You helped rebuild my self-esteem
You helped me to see the potentials God has for me.

Look, I am healed.
By the hand of my King, you the instrument
You are the lost part I was longing for,
All my life long, seeking Love
You came and made me complete.

With you I have a life, vision
Together we will build God's Kingdom
And in return He will build ours.
I often think where I would have been without Him
I often think where I would have been without you, my love.
I cannot live without Him or you, I need your love.

I am thriving, your love making me grow.
I love you so much it hurts.
I want to love you and I want to be with you forever.
I love to be one with you.
I need you so much and I know that our love is real.

I thank the King of Kings for my most precious wife.
Thank you for all you are
For all you do to spoil me rotten.
Thank you for be there always.

I know I am not always easy,
But you ear are always listening
My help to be more than what I am,
Thank you for being positive
Always helping me to see, more, deeper.

I am so thankful for from above
The most precious gift of all, Jesus and Cavell
You are more worth than all the gold on earth.
I will swop you for nothing,

Lord, I love you - Cavell I love you.

Wikipedia: Poetry:

Poetry has a long history, dating back to the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh.

Early poems evolved from folk songs such as the Chinese Shijing, or from a need to retell oral epics, as with the Sanskrit Vedas,Zoroastrian Gathas, and the Homeric epics, the Iliad and the Odyssey. Ancient attempts to define poetry, such as Aristotle's Poetics, focused on the uses of speech in rhetoric, drama, song and comedy.

Later attempts concentrated on features such as repetition, verse form and rhyme, and emphasized the aesthetics which distinguish poetry from more objectively-informative, prosaic forms of writing.

From the mid-20th century, poetry has sometimes been more generally regarded as a fundamental creative act employing language.

Poetry uses forms and conventions to suggest differential interpretation to words, or to evoke emotive responses.

Some poetry types are specific to particular cultures and genres and respond to characteristics of the language in which the poet writes.

Readers accustomed to identifying poetry with Dante, Goethe,Mickiewicz and Rumi may think of it as written in lines based on rhyme and regular meter; there are, however, traditions, such as Biblical poetry, that use other means to create rhythm and euphony.

Much modern poetry reflects a critique of poetic tradition, playing with and testing, among other things, the principle of euphony itself, sometimes altogether forgoing rhyme or set rhythm.

In today's increasingly globalized world, poets often adapt forms, styles and techniques from diverse cultures and languages.

I hate Religion but love Jesus!
