Before starting here at Hubpages around 19 weeks ago, I was quite active at some discussion forums, some of which really paid me well. In between I tried my hand in paid to click programmes and paid to read email programmes, which did not give the satisfaction Hubpages gave me.
Recently I was searching for other safe sites which let the members earn a fair share of the revenue generated through ads displayed and those are free to join also. Most of the time, the sharing is 50-50 or 60-40 between the members and the site owner. There are a lot of scam sites which will ask you to pay up first and then disappear with your money.
Here I have compiled a safe list of sites that let you make money through your contributions and that are free to join. This method has been an effective tool in driving visitors to one’s site and at the same time, making your site continually updated as the members keeps on providing fresh content since they get a slice of the revenue being generated by the website. Most of these sites use Google Adsense to generate their revenue along with other ads and services.
I sincerely hope that this list will help you in earning online. In fact, most of us are here to make some money online. If you can find any other honest sites which really pays please add to this list. You are right. There are indeed many of us out here trying to understand how to earn using the internet. You may want to stay clear of Xomba. I use to have an account with them I won a contest that was supposed to have a cash prize. After I won the contest my account was suspended. They claimed I plagiarized and took three of my post off the site. Two post were Movie and TV reviews which I had written posted at Xomba and my own blog. Another post was an original work which I wrote specifically for the Xomba site, it was not published anywhere else yet David claimed it was plagiarized. I’ve asked both David and Nick for proof of the claim because I’ve submitted proof that I didn’t plagiarize. I have not heard from either one of them regarding their proof all Nick said was he would talk to David about it. Funny thing is they've kept my other posts up, the ones that are generating revenue.
So, what happens is once you start generating revenue or its possible Xomba owes you a cash prize and you are not one of their regulars they will ban your account for no legitimate reason so all the revenue from your post goes to them and it doesn't get shared. If you happen to get your account back it will be days later, so you will lose days worth of revenue while they profit from your hard work.Are you making good money from hub pages?

In my experience, Swicki by Eurekster is a fantastic way to earn money online. It works similar to HubPages in terms of Google Adsense. The CTR and ECPM are consistently high.
Have you thought of Swickis as a FREE way to build traffic to your site employing high traffic keyword terms that other search engines won't give you? I found about this traffic building strategy at http://www.addandsearch.com

There is another site which offers an AdSense Affiliate Program, www.Nachofoto.com . Super easy and all you have to do is submit images as you browse the web. If you create an account with you AdSense Publisher ID every image you subit will run your ads... much easier than writing articles and has a ton of traffic.

Definitely steer clear of Xomba! The only people making money on their site are hackers and spyware criminals who plagiarize and sensationalize to trick searches into wasting their time by visiting links to articles that have little useful information, except for a select few Xomba writers. When I complained that Xomba had no link from my profile to my Xombytes, they blocked me. Google Xomba Spyware, Xomba Scams, and Xomba Waste of Time!
