Wearing Rudraksha Beads

Anyone irrespective of age, sex, culture, religion and geographical area can wear a Rudraksha Beads. A rudraksha should be worn with utmost devotion and respect. One can start wearing the rosary or bead on a Monday or any auspicious day morning after taking bath and requesting blessing from Lord Shiva. After keeping the mala infront of you light dhoop and oil lamp. Wash the beads with water/gangajal or springle water on them with a leaf chanting "Om Namashivaya" 27 times. Also dip a fresh flower in sandel paste and offer to the mala. Then you may chant the individual beej mantras of the different beads used in the mala 27 times each and wear the mala after that.

Rudraksha Beads work by touch, sight, worship or possession. Wearing the rosary or bead for a minimum 45 days continuously to establish a relationship with the beads atrer taking bath and offering water and dhoop and energizing it with the mantra 'Om Namashivaya'. Take off the beads when going to sleep or when going to the funeral ground.

Beeja Mantras of Different Mukhi's

The Beeja Mantra for One Mukhi,Four Mukhi , Five Mukhi, Ten Mukhi & Thirteen Mukhi is 'Aum Hreem Namah'. For Two Mukhi and Fourteen Mukhi the mantra is ' Aum Namah'. The Mantra for Three Mukhi is 'Aum Kleem Namah'. For Six Mukhi , Nine Mukhi and Eleven Mukhi 'Aum Hreem Hum Namah' is used. For Seven Mukhi and Eight Mukhi the mantra is 'Aum Hum Namah'. The Beeja mantra for 12 mukhi is 'Aum Kraum Ksaum Raum Namah'.

You have mentioned the rituals as any normal person could do. But I do much more before wearing the beads and after wearing as well for charging the Beads.
