What is a Magnificient Hub!

Updated on November 30, 2011

Hard Work and all Heart

I have noticed only one thing in common with all the hubs I have read so far.

That  everyone who has made a hub has put time and effort and feelings in there work.

Who would waste there time and energy to do something they didn't believe in.

Promises of an income can be made with lots of time and effort. That is the dangling carrot in front of me that I keep going for and can taste it but still just out of my reach.

Friends that pop up , give a whole new meaning to pop ups in the computer world. It is not annoying and bad it is just the opposite exciting and good.

They just want to see your work and tell you how they feel.

That is extraordinary in my book. That is the book I have not written yet but still make promises to myself and the hub pages I will do really soon.

I have to keep using the dictionary to look up words I haven't used in 20 years.I am old school. Something about looking up a word and actually finding it.It still gives me a thrill knowing that I was right with my spelling which does happen, not to often though.More often than not I was wrong, but now I can make it write(right) a little pun.I here that most people on the computer use spell check.I am proud to say I haven't used it yet.One reason I didn't know it exsisted.I am still not computer savy.

I think out my thoughts and I can keep trying to improve and make myself better. I still have to check with every teacher I ever had in all my years of school to see if I am doing the right thing. So the verdict is still out on that one.

I feel great writing. This is where I want to be no matter if you like what I write or not.Secretly I hope you like it.Ooops my secret is out.Lesson learned once you type something it is out there for the world to see.So I have to write slowly and thats not me.I tell it the way I feel and put my words on the line line by line.

I know where I was before the hub pages. With notebooks of my writings and scrap pieces of paper that I thought contained my lifes work.Waiting to be discovered.More often than not I put them in a cardboard box down the cellar. Until the cellar floods unexpectedly and all my dreams are washed away.It does happen believe me.You can not repeat or replace the things you have written so long ago. That is life. Thanks for modern technology!I can write till my heart content. It is saved and no paper.Even published how can that be.FOR FREE.Wait nothing in life is free?EXCEPT THE HUB PAGES!

Best of all.I can go let the cat out.Get a bowl of cereal for breakfast.Turn on the radio while still in my pajamas.Write for awhile and then go back to bed when I am tired.I can't forget throw in a load of laundry when my wife asks did you start the laundry yet. Then go to work and wonder where did my day go.

I can also go back to the years of my youth and throw a record on the record player for those who still remember. There is something about the static noise from the many scratches on them that gives me a chill up and down my spine. Then pretend they are singing my song I wrote on the hub pages.

One of those days that you feel not yourself.A little down in out.Maybe a touch of a cold ,no not that.I tend to talk to myself more than ever before but this time someone can listen. It doesn't mean they will. But someday you wake up and check your hubs and surprise, someone actually read what you wrote months ago. They liked it.They related to what you said. They wrote a hub on the same thing. You become instant friends. That is as good as it gets.

Competition is all around you.Don't get nervous. When you log on day after day and see how many people post daily hubs. You will soon say good for you fellow hubbers and they will soon do the same for you too.I do what I can and bless those with so much more time.

MY DEEPEST THANKS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE HUB PAGES AND MADE MY DREAMS POSSIBLE!I HAVE A BOSS THAT I NEVER SEE.THEY PUSH ME TO EXCEL AND PROMISE ME A DESCENT PAY FOR MY WORK AND EFFORT.I JUST HAVE TO DO WHAT I DO BEST WRITE,WRITE AND WRITE SOME MORE.THEY CORRECT MY MISTAKES.THEY COMMENT WHEN I NEED HELP.THEY KEEP TRACK OF ALL MY PROGRESS.ALL FOR FREE.I THINK I SHOULD OF BEEN FIRED MONTHS AGO.MAYBE THEY SEE SOMETHING IN ME I DON'T SEE.GREAT POTENTIAL!
