As writers we are always looking for better ways to write, better resources, better references and better websites to filter our writings too. Over the last several years, I have used several websites, to help me become a better writer.

After years of collecting this material, I thought it best to share with writers who are beginners or even the more experienced writers. Regardless, we can all learn from each other and I just love picking up tips from other websites and resources.

Below is a list of websites that I have used and picked up tips that has helped me in the past and in the present.

www.fundsforwriters.com freelancers or wantabe’s freelancers can scrutinize through this website looking for jobs. This site offers contests, how to write essays, submit essays and other exciting stuff. Great site to learn more about jobs that are available to the writer's market.

www.newbiewriters.com this site will help you start your writing career. Most are newbie’s and you can ask all the questions (even the ones you think are stupid) to your fellow writers. It also has information about what kind of writer you want to become, to help you figure out what is right for you.

www.coffeetimeromance.com this site is for the romantics only (just teasing) all should visit. It’s about romance writing, share your thoughts, books, ask questions, and has helpful hints and tips. Live chats, book reviews, helpful advice, writers knowledge, this is the place for you.

www.writergazette.com Wonderful site to help you find freelance job postings, essay contests, writing contests, submission and other materials. For the writer who wants a career in writing, this site is for you. Oh, and sign up for the free newsletter, it’s worth it.

www.writersdigest.com This is a grand and vast website. It lists contests, blogs, has featured writers, offers advice, publishing tips and great links to other websites. If you have not gone to this website, do it now.

www.duotrope.com This site offers the writers markets so much, finding poetry, novels, nonfiction, short stories and much, much more. This online submission tracker is perfect for searching publishers and browsing the forums.

www.newbiewriters.com great site to help educate you on writing, queries, magazines, etc. Wonderful forums to post your blogs and just a good community of writers. Go to this site and check it out, they have lots of ideas, forums to overcome writers' block, how to make money and many other helpful tips.

www.absolutewrite.com If you write, then this is for you, doesn’t matter your interests of writing, there are great tips here. It has a lot of information on it from forums to finding publishers to tips on marketing your articles and/or books. Plus, it’s just fun.

www.hubpgaes.com this website is a MUST to join. It has a community base of writer's that share knowledge, information, tips and pearls of writing. It has a vast amount of writer's, that will help you and help increase your writings which will enhance your writer's ability and make some money as well. Join here today, awesome writing website.

There are many more writing websites available; however, these are the ones that work for me. In addition, they have helped me over the years to become a better writer. You don’t have to belong to 10 or more sites, pick and choose the ones that are what you need. Change them up as you grow, some will stay with you forever, but you will evolve to others and let go of ones you have outgrown.
