Come Sit By Me A While : Some More Moments In Time.
Well another visit so very soon my dear friends and as always youare all so very welcome.
Fetch your hot drinks and pull up a pew : However I don't think you need me to keep on telling you as I am sure you are familiar with the routine by now !!
By the way before I go on any further I would like to warn you that from next Tuesday on there will be no cakes or biscuits on offer !!!
I have made that wonderful decision to go on a diet (for the second time in the past six months or so!!!)
I have never been over weight until these past couple of years and after giving up smoking three years ago the weight slowly but surely piled on !!! I am not obese but too heavy for my liking plus it doesn't do my dodgy back any good either.
So sorry but if I have to suffer then you all do too!! Ha ha!!!
Right where was I ?????
Oh yes ; this hub is a follow up to yesterday's http://eiddwen.hubpages.com/hub/Come-Sit-By-Me-A-while-Moments-In-Time I have become very suddenly addicted to PowerPoint and to be able to connect it to my hubs as well is great!!
There is so much I love about creating these i.e discovering PowerPoint was wonderful , also I enjoy looking up wonderful quotes , then searching for that right song to accompany, composing Haiku poetry and last but definitely not least sharing them with you all my very dear friends.
The song I have chosen for today is 'Colours Of the Wind' sung by a wonderful young lady called Connie Talbot .I remember hearing Connie on Britain's Got Talent 2007 when she was just six years old and she came runner up to Paul Potts.
It wasn't just her voice;it was also the beautiful innocent charm of this little gem that made such an impact.
Right time for me to stop waffling now and if we are all sat comfortably I shall begin.
Gentle waters flow
Heartwarming senses to grow
Caressing softly.
The winds of fortune
The eternal wealth of love
Blossoms now thriving.
My Rock Rose I share
Love so treasured and precious
Captivating gems.
Deep waters fulfill
Filling each crevice with love
Gentle caresses.
That haunting love song
Carried on the winds of time
Filling each moment.
Messages so clear
Bewitching oh so wondrous
Nature's enchantment.
Contentment absorbed
Each warm magical moment
Appreciated.
Sunshine's golden warmth
Each heart so proudly invites
Life's sparkling moments.
I hear the calling
From my heart deep deep within
A great strength seeps through.
Flowers and blossoms
Free each heart from pains so deep
Sweet scented treasures.
Life's greatest lessons
From Mother Nature's wisdom
Never forgotten.
I hope that you all enjoyed your visit and here's to many more to come.
Lots of love and hugs to you all from my little corner of Wales.
Eddy.
