Come Sit By Me A While : Springtime Fills My Heart.
Oh yes another visit so very soon and I am so pleased to welcome you all. How I love to share my days ; my thoughts (happy or sad) with you all.
I think that ever since I was a little girl if any story I wrote had a little bit of sadness in it it had to end on an up!!!This was ME from knee high and this has stayed with me to this very day.
As many of you know in the past couple of weeks I saw with great sadness the passing of two wonderful people in my life.
One being a young girl who behind her disabilites was a beautiful and true gem.
The other a very dear friend and the grief hung around me for days!! I felt physically shattered but as always found solace in my writing and today I find myself on a higher plateau of coping and understanding once again.
Again I have found my haven in Mother Nature's gems.
My three favourite words have also been a crutch :- Expect ;Accept and Appreciate.
Right as always help yourselves to tea,coffee and biscuits ; no cake today as we polished that off yesterday Ha ha!!
Springtime buds.
Those opening buds
fill my heart
with a joy so fresh
a new era
a new day
new scents
sets new sights
so alive
so wondrous
eagerly awaiting my tomorrows
so full promises and hope......................................
To each newborn lamb.
Those newborn lambs
tails a-wiggling
at times
tenacious
and
laced
with trepidation;
but wondrously and surely
those doubts dispel;
those baby-like prances
play sweet melodies to my heart;
my soul today
so full of
wonderful sights;
awaiting with
an infinite capacity
of an almost
excited mind ;
so full
so eagerly
awaiting
what is to come;
a tomorrow of new beings
and
fresh new growth to surround
and invigorate
my beautiful world......................................
Each new dawn in life.
Each dawn to walk
barefooted
in Nature's
magical dew drops;
each one glistening
sharing the secrets of the beauty to follow.
Of springs magical potion
to heal each wound
to lift each fallen being
to brighten the heartbeats so dull.
To disperse the cold chambers
of doubt;
a doubt if left to flourish will
corrode each beat
will deaden each joy;
but deep true and fulfilling faith in Nature
unwinds my tangled emotions
and strengthens my resolve to share
to help......................................
That springtime brook.
The springtime brook
runs
and glistens
forming a barrier
between our being
and
the coldness
the hurt
the pain
of each sadness in life;
of the loss of loved ones
the pain inflicted
like sharp stabbing darts
relentlessly
stab stab stabbing
my heart
and
soul.
The refreshing new birth
of the
springtime brook
brings
that strength
like no other
to slowly
but surely
refresh my mind
before
in sheer fulfilment
to
trickle through my being
bringing that fresh
and much awaited
promising
new era.
Beautiful memories
surface
with a strength
so new
so fresh
and
so very strong.............................
Each beautiful horizon.
Beautiful horizons are now in view;
wondrous treasures
chances
and hopes.
Drink your fill
of new found paths;
to walk to test
forever in time.
Beautiful hopes
find wondrous dreams
walk your walk
a true life to begin.
Each wondrous achievements
each legacy
to follow our names for eternity.
Sunshine yellow.
How sunshine yellow
Embraces and warms my heart
Happy days to come.
Beautiful heathers.
Heathers will soften
To cushion each fresh footstep
Each path so wondrous.
Graceful moments.
Graceful sweet moments
Eternally to treasure
Such beauty in life.
Tomorrow's blossoms.
Inhale so deeply
Taste the beauty in your life
Tomorrow blossoms.
Some of my collages which I love creating.
I hope you enjoyed today's visit and will call again.
Keep your hearts and souls open to taste and feel the beauty that is always ours to explore;to be able to remember loved ones and to understand that they are always with us.
'They may be gone from our homes but never from our hearts.'
Finally I would like to leave you with this quote:-
Today's heartaches may be tomorrows blossoms.
(A quote by myself)
