I Could Write A Heart Felt Book
Oh for just one look!
I could write a Heart Felt Book!
If she would look my way,
I would try to stay,
By her side,
Against all tide.
Could anyone be so bold,
To reach for her, to hold,
Her heart for their own?
Could she love a mere man alone?
If that man could only see,
How much more could that man be?
A glimpse, a smile, an eye,
Would raise his spirit to the sky.
A small taste of this taste so divine,
Would make a Micky Dee pine.
And so would begin, such an unusual trend.
The wind would be his friend.
He would sail through hail.
Feel no pain in rain.
And he would roll, roll, and roll.
Inches above the road and every pot hole.
Perhaps I'll settle for just a smile, a look,
and then I could write the Heart Felt Book.
