To Mir With Love!

Updated on April 25, 2011

To Mir With Love

Our reality it seems,

Is all in our dreams.

Did you climb up my tree,

Just to lie here with me?

To see planets like Mars,

In my hammock between stars.

All of my blessings are in disguise

The stars are merely floating in your eyes.

The glow of gold,

Is from your soul.

Your treasure is the pleasure.

That one cannot measure.

What brings you here,

It matters not, my Dear.

My heart roars,

“My heart is yours!”

Once upon a midnight drear,

Let’s just step beyond our atmosphere.

I’ll sing you sonnets,

While we trail behind comets.

Let’s be in the “be here now!”

The laws of gravity we will disallow.

We’ll travel to Mir in those stars above,

We’ll carve initials and, “To Mir With Love”.

We’ll follow the stars,

All the way to Mars.

We’ll skip along our merry Milky Way,

We’ll never speak without something to say.

Sit back you lover of light,

Relax and enjoy your flight.

We’ll see wondrous, astronomical things,

Before stopping by Saturn, for a couple of rings.

And if the night should end too soon,

We’ll stop by the full blown moon,

I’ll show you my Little Dipper,

And maybe take a stab at your zipper.

      You improve any scene!

      I wish you could stay,

But if I were to have a wish,

I wish and I really pray,

Your daughter was out of harm's way.

Darlene I really pray that you both are Okay!

You are a wonder and a absolute joy

A Freudian slip is a great line

I bet old Sigmund used it many a time

His theories were studied here and abroad

      Searching for that perfect star,

When all along - There you are!

I can tell by your lovely prose,

That Always Exploring is a beautiful rose.

Now all I can think about is removing your clothes!

      It's all that "ose" stuff!

I got hung up on the rhyme! Sorry!

      It'll never happen again!

      Oops! Freudian slip?

Could I see your Freudian slip?

Okay- You have such pretty words and I reply like a juvenile!

Does God want me to be stupid like this?

      I guess so.

oH Micky what a romantic good time you must have had

looking at all the beauty in outer space

Your words were exquisite and spoken with grace

Oh the glory of swinging on a twinkling star

Sounds like you must have found Cupid from afar

I know in my heart you were gentle with your find

Cause all we Hubbers know you are one-of-a-kind

I don't care to see yer lil dipper, but am interested in how you knew I was up that tree yesterday? will be up there again today. I may pee out of it too. Let it dribble down the gnarly trunk. Mine is not a lil dipper, more like a toothpic now.

If there's anything to add to my name,

It's that Micky sure talks a good game.

      He's got a good rap,

      But he's full of crap.

He roars like a lion, but he's gentle as a lamb.

He just repeats and emotes. He's really a ham!

God bless you Petra, you're right you know.

      Onto another planet we'll go.

Yes Valerie, it's often a ruse,

But what else is left after you peruse?

But life is best when the one who is chosen,

Remains and loves and time is frozen.

MFB, let's check new worlds, the moon,

And unlike "this" exploration, it won't end too soon.

      Oh Dim, my beloved Dim,

I can live on your words said on a whim.

      BobbiRant enjoy your stars,

      Forget about far off wars,

      Relish this tiny universe,

      And silly words of verse.

Beautiful pics! It got me to daydreaming about floating up there among the stars. I used to love laying on my back as a kid and watching stars, sometimes I'd see shooting one, reminded me of those days. Thanks.

I hope I get a choice when I die and go to the heavens, to either lie around and fly around paradise in wings, or travel the vast universe visiting planets and moons without the encumberances of spacesuits and ships because I am immortal. I will definitely be the next

space cadet when I reach the other side of the moon. Loved this~~~MFB III

Now, Micky Dee, this sounded rather romantic, and like a star gazing thing, until you got to the last two lines. Was this little dipper and zipper deal satirical of the many reasons people try to have us gaze at the sky with them. Sure sounds like it. Funny. (:v

      No Sa'ge.

I hope that this one hits the spot.

But this was not the quick jot.

I wrestled with myself and conscience,

But I did not have this down to a science!

      This took a little time,

I studied a bit to make this rhyme.

I saw Star Wars with these beautiful stars.

But we did get together and go to Mars!
