Shooting Star: A Poem
You were there and gone in a blink of the eye,
I didn't know what hit me,
Your beauty shoot across the sky,
Now alone in darkness, I can't see,
A flash of light, a stream of hope,
I should have known it wouldn't last,
Without you, I'm sure I can't cope,
So, I'll just dream of all that has passed.
