What Does This Sentence Mean

    I wrote this. What do you think it means? Explain in your own words. I'm curious.

    "My patience & composure extends far, but if it wears thin and starts to disintegrate, then I will inevitably be facing an inexorable oblivion; standing on the precipice of madness, descending far from solace -- powerless to relinquish an abysmal fate."

      I take it to mean that once you lose your patience, you will lose all control, not knowing where it could lead.  Violence? Depths of depression?  I'm hoping this a work of fiction?  smile  Best wishes.

        Essentially, yes -- losing control of one's mind; falling into deep confusion, depression, loneliness etc. Patience and composure are strengths, but must be maintained.
